these were so worth $8! shared these with 2 other friends and it was actually decently filling.

the walnut maple ice cream was not too sweet and had bits of cake (?) or some other sweet thing inside which were a pleasant surprise.. and the walnut bits were also nice! the waffles were also VERYY soft inside and u could actually taste the matcha, it was light and a bit (but not too) bitter~

didn’t order the matcha latte but tried a sip! same as the waffles, the matcha was rlly peeking through and it def wasn’t diluted (compared to other matcha lattes out there..)

overall would come back if i pass by!

Quaint little space at Beauty World! This rice bowl set me back by $13 which was alright considering the generous amount of salmon! I have tried many rice bowls and this one ranks as one of the top of my list!

the mentai was seriously satisfying, paired with that sweet and soft tamago. but same with the rice bowls, there’s no pull to come back for it. nonetheless it’s a great side dish.

at $13-$15 for our bowls, i’d say it’s a solid bowl - the cuts were fresh, rice was great honestly (you rly can’t miss that vinegar-ish rice for chirashi bowls, theirs even had a drizzle of sweet sauce). tho somehow lacking - there’s no pull to come back specifically for it, unless there’s an intense craving.

Nestled in Bukit Timah Plaza, this Japanese stall had a nice cosy ambience with its wooden furniture. As it was a rainy day, ordered their seasonal special Fish Broth Ramen, which was so rich with salmon flavour. Would definitely be coming back again to try other affordable yet high quality food!

Aside from serving affordable Donburi, @chirashiaisingapore also serves Matcha Waffles with Premium Ice Cream ($8.00) that is really worth a try.
