The special mocha was pretty good except it could’ve had a stronger coffee kick. The cafe itself is pretty comfy with both indoor & outdoor seating. Service is great as well, they seem to recognise their regular customers!

Satisfying my craving to have dessert for lunch 🤣 Waffles!!! Could have requested for the maple syrup to be served separately as the waffles were drowned & became soggy. So hard to pronounce this name haha. Counter staff was very friendly and offered to explain all the drinks to me :) And yeah so he says this drink comes in a small cup, and I think the size is just nice as it was quite heavy. The drink contains Nutella but it made the coffee less prominent so gotta try their other drinks next time.

This iced mocha from Cafe Vergano comes highly recommended by a friend and I loved it! Rich dark chocolaty drink to cool you down from the crazy summer heat😎!
A quant cafe along the newly opened South Beach Road! They're rather small with highly limited seating but the atmosphere in there is great. You're treated by the aroma of coffee beans as you walk in too.
The Cioccolata [$5.50] was so rich and chocolatey! Definitely one for chocolate lovers. As for the cranberry lemon muffin [$4.50], it was a tad bit too sweet but tasty nonetheless! Loved the cranberry surprise in the middle too :)
Reward yourself with a cup of Cioccolate for surviving first day back at work. Rich Italian hot chocolate that's not overly sweet, though finishing one alone you'll wonder if a sore throats is due.
Happiness is hot chocolate on a rainy day. Reward yourself with a cup of Bicerin, one of the 1882 special drinks if you're near the area. Intoxicated by this pleasing rich cup of espresso with Turin chocolate and a doop of whipped cream.

had your morning coffee yet? always know that the italians will do it with more class. so when you next order your espresso or what was scarily known back then as "drink of satan", don’t be surprised when a shot of sparkling water comes with it. why? the italian custom has it to cleanse your palate before your first sip. then, their only wish for you is that you enjoy the full intensity and the wonderful aromas of the espresso and hit ninth heaven. .

Super generous apple filling, though I wish it had a teenie weenie bit more cinnamon and nutmeg (but that's just my personal preference). The crust wasn't too buttery, but had a nice biscuit-like texture that provided contrast against the soft baked fruit slices. All in all, a good enough option to share (or not) to go with your coffee! 😋
Get this if you're not in an adventurous mood and just want comfort food. I like the extra ladleful of tomato sauce atop the alternating meaty sauce, pasta sheet, and cheesy layers. I wasn't expecting it to come with a salad, but glad that it did as the zippiness of the dressing really helped to cut through all that richness. 👌🏼
Do note that this took some time to arrive (almost 30 minutes), so it's probably not a good option if you're in a rush — perhaps it's best to check beforehand how long it will roughly take to be safe.
Imagine white coffee plus a dollop of luscious Nutella and voila, you have a Delizioso. ☕️
Make sure you mix the Nutella smeared on the sides of the glass while it's still hot to fully infuse the hazelnut choco goodness into your cuppa. 😋
If you love mocha, then this is perfect for you! It might sound diabetic but it's actually not too sweet. There are a handful of chocolate/hazelnut-y coffees (and pure hot chocolate!) worth checking out on the menu!
Yes, with sparkling water! The purpose of the sparkling water is to cleanse the palette. You can take the sparkling water before or after the shot, but taking it before is recommended for you to enjoy the full and balanced flavour of the coffee shot! And yes, this shot is so much more balanced than the average, I didn't cringe after finishing mine!
With its mission to bring the true Italian experience and culture into the Singapore coffee scene, Caffe Vergnano serves up a beautifully balanced cup of coffee, in a cosy corner within South Beach. Free wifi, quiet space, great coffee... I came back on my own because it's really quite awesome.
Aside from being just a cafe, Caffe Vergnano also holds one coffee-related workshop every weekend at $150/pax. Expect an intimate sharing session with the super knowledgeable and engaging head barista who will share about the farm to table journey of coffee beans. Also, you'll be able to make your own coffee and identify the differences between different coffee making techniques. Overall, a really great experience!
