More Reviews of good food at Cafe Pal

Truly Thai food. Affordable pricing. Their milk tea is the bomb.. Which is nt inside the pic. Those who can really take spicy food... MUST try their seafood tom yum... It's really spicy but addictive... Mama Mee salad... Basically is the raw Maggie Mee that we used to eat younger days... With lots of msg... And as a snack.. Tis is the cooked version. Beef noddles that's come with all parts of the cow.. (Tendon, meat, meatball, ....) are tender to the bites...

The Cha Yen at Cafe Pal is different from the two stores we get around Raffles Place as it is sweeter but doesn't have aftertaste of the tea!

Cha Yen 》$3 + $0.50 Pearls
Thick and milky tea without the bitter aftertaste. I wished that the pearls are lesser but they are very soft, chewy and has a sweet brown sugar taste.

Green Monster 》$4.80
Matcha + Green Tea + Milk
A very milky drink with a very faint taste of green tea.

Rice set for $15+ with drink. Really enjoyed this green curry!! Not overly spicy, and quite creamy with tender chicken. Served with sunny side up, rice, keropok and string beans (that I hate) but overall everything's pretty good.

$12+ for a set with drinks (lemongrass/lime/coffee/English tea). Comforting tasty soup with thin vermicelli and tender beef!

from left to right, you can choose from green monster -matcha and green tea and milk ($4.80), thai iced tea ($3, excluding add-on pearls of 50 cents) moo moo island - green tea + milk + young coconut + coconut flesh ($4.80). needless to say, my fav is thai iced tea! milk tea was so rich and creamy, similar to those I had from BKK! second choice would probably be green monster, but the matcha taste was too light. nay to moo moo island, but that is simply because I don't like to drink coconut. others find it refreshing and great!
one saving tip - choose the takeaway because it is much cheaper than drinking it over there 😁

REALLY A GOOD EXPERIENCE Tom yum soup is alittle too much on Lemongrass thou

😎: Green Monster is actually green tea milk w/ matcha but I think the matcha taste is pretty mild. If only the matcha taste is stronger, it will be my favourite! || Thai Iced Tea the best amongst the 3! Really taste like the ones I had in BKk.😊 || Moo Moo Island is actually made up of green tea, milk, young coconut and coconut flesh. A drink that is pretty refreshing for a hot day!

😎: Coconut was fragrant but the mango was abit too sour which I understand it is not within their control. The sticky rice was kind of hard too so I think this is pretty average.✌🏻️

Beef is so tender and goes really well with long thin vermicelli that bathed in their flavorful signature Thai beef soup. You can choose to have it as a set for SGD 12+ that comes with a choice of lime juice/lemongrass/coffee/English tea! This is definitely a perfect one-dish meal for me in this cold weather like today.

😎: Their green curry is pretty amazing! The chicken is cooked in homemade green curry paste with Thai brinjals & string beans in coconut milk. It is really fragrant! Served with a sunny side up & with jasmine rice!😊 Comes with a choice of lime juice/lemongrass/coffee/English tea!

😎: Feel that this dish need abit of improvement!πŸ˜‰ The Tom yum taste doesn't not come really strongly on first taste. Only comes on as an after-taste! Some improvements in the soup should do the job! Comes with a choice of lime juice/lemongrass/coffee/English tea!

Love their version of Thai milk tea the best! This delicious orange beverage is rich and milky, unlike some were diluted and mild in taste. Opt to add pearls in it for some added chewiness (SGD 0.50 extra). Probably the best Thai milk tea in Singapore!
