This reminds me that dish from Miss Clarity Cafe that was used to be around the corner. Breaking the breaded crust, you find a perfectly cooked chicken. The vegetables came over salted but the tasty sauce made up the shortcomings.
Though it was tasty, the portion is too small to be a main.
Thin slices of beef, tender as perfectly cooked shabu-shabu beef, with chunks of mushrooms and dollops of luxuriously creamy mashed potato, doused in a rich cream sauce. This is just ace.
Ground chicken patties with mashed potato. Tasted exactly like all the chicken cutlets I had in Eastern Europe, so I guess really authentic!
Traditional Russian salad with chicken (nowhere to be found except in the form of its offspring, the egg), diced vegetables, eggs and pickles, dressed with homemade mayo.
As my dinner companion put it, this tasted like a Polar puff.
