A venture by the same people behind Pavilion's Michelangelo, Bru Cafe opens in Faber Towers to the delight of the office building's tenants. The menu here is a spread of Italian dishes from pastas and risottos to traditional cannolis. Lunch hour calls for a satisfying Linguine Vongole (RM16.90) tossed with fresh clams and olive oil or a richer Fettucine Salmon (RM25.90) in dill cream sauce. Looking for a quick bite? Get the Chef Special Sandwich (RM18.90), roasted chicken and mozzarella in a warm toasted pizza bread. To finish, leave your palate with the sweeter notes of a custard-filled Italian Cannoli (from RM5) or perhaps, a Long Black (RM9.90) to fuel you back to work.
