The worst of the four I bought. Okay it's very strong curry potato, but the experience was no different from the common curry pie.
It's curious how the typical bakery sausage tastes the same in every form. This wasn't bad, but can't claim to be good either.
I usually hate cheese with pastry, because it's just salty and charred, but I took this to make up four flavours, and it turned out the best of the lot. The cheese was rich and fresh, and complemented the sweetness of the Danish well.
Reheated this in the oven and got the crispy exterior I wanted. Took 1 bite, 2 bites, 3 bites and got irritated. Still haven’t reached the filling yet. But next bite yielded stretchy soft mozzarella cheese. The curry chicken filling was delicious and spicy, and the cheese was a generous amt. I liked that the cheese was spread out everywhere so every bite was cheesy. As I demolished this yummy doughnut, I realized I ate from the wrong end. The opp end was thin like popiah skin, not thick and doughy like the part I started with.
This triangular shaped curry doughnut had one whole soft boiled egg inside. How could I resist. The curry was moist and spicy. Tasted pretty good. The highlight was the egg. I thot the yolk would flow everywhere but it was actually more jelly-like than lava. Lava was little bit only, right in the very centre of the egg. Prob best to eat at home. I ate this outside sitting on a bench. Hard to maneuver the egg within the doughnut while worrying that I would drop the thing. Plus it was stone cold.
Can last one night in the fridge. Need to eat by next day. Curry Chizu can last longer in the fridge. Saw a baker placing a 20% off tag on both items right after I paid and was walking out 😤
Bread lovers alert 🚨
This is one of my favourites from bread society.
Incredibly pillowy soft - thought I typically prefer breads that are denser because they keep you fuller for longer.
This black sesame loaf has aromatic and nutty swirls of black sesame paste rolled into the loaf.
Great that it is not too sweet 😊
