Doinjang Jjjgae (S$15++)
Bean Paste Stew
The number of clams can use 1 hand to collect. Broth tasted weak.
Jajangmyun (S$16++)
Blackbean Noodle
Way too mushy. Not much liao.
Side dishes are not refillable and servings quite miserable.
Barley tea was chargeable at S$1++ per person.
Quite a disappointing meal at @akkr.sg in @alexandraretailcentre . Think it would be an one time affair. .

This was amazing! The Sundubu Jigae had crab legs and clams as ingredients which infused the broth with seafood and made it really flavourful.
The seafood pancake was crispy af, it was heavenly after mixing with the dipping sauce. Thumbs up!
Only issue was that the prices are quite steep.

The whole chicken inside was a really tiny spring chicken, which was cooked till the bones were so soft it fell apart once bitten (which wasn’t really a desired outcome). The flavors here were also pretty bland (I thought they would give some salt on the side, like many restaurants do, but instead they gave soy sauce with chili padi??) but the glutinous rice gave the soup a nice porridge-y texture once you approach the end.
This came with bulgogi beef, and it looked promising, though it fell short of expectations due to the slightly bland profile. Still, a little addition of kimchi mixed in easily fixed that.
Skin is quite thin as compared to some other dumplings. Fillings are filled with meat and kimchi. Edge of the skin is on the crispy side, to the extend that it is quite hard to bite on.
Or is it.. Korean fried pork with sweet and sour starch lumps 😒😒😒 I love this restaurant, but this is just too disappointing #burpple
