Ah Cheng Laksa (Avenue K)

Ah Cheng laksa apparently serves Alor Setar style laksa. I've never had authentic Kedahan laksa but I can say that the curry laksa I had here did not taste like regular kl laksa. It had a very distinct and rich unusual flavor, according to my mum it was serai? The dish overall was pretty good, I would say. It had some cockles, chicken pieces and tao pok, a bowl on its own costs RM8.90 and set lunch which includes a drink is RM11.90. We got the longan drink, which wasn't too sweet nor too diluted, and had quite a number of whole longans. Seems a little pricey to me, RM8.90 for a bowl of noodles and RM3 add on for a drink, but everything's expensive nowadays anyway right?
