Maybe had a bit of higher expectations and they weren't really matched. But not bad with the 1 for 1 deal (burpple's one is only available Mon - Thu).

Hawaii Five-O ($27) Not just pineapple on pizza, but caramelized cinnamon pineapple rings on a pizza! And pancetta instead of your usual ham. What an upgrade. Honestly speaking I couldn’t really taste the cinnamon on the pineapples but the pizza was still overall tasty, with the saltiness from the pancetta complemented by the sweetness of the pineapple pieces. Each pizza supposedly comes with a paired Happy Dip for the crust. We ordered four pizzas but was only served two dips - perhaps it was because we used the Burpple 1-for-1 deal. We were served the Pesto dip and the Barbecue dip - the barbecue dip was really tasty but I personally feel that the pesto dip could’ve used a lot more flavour. I was used to pizzas coming with dips back in Ireland, so it’s great that this place provides this pairing - apparently it’s the first online pizzeria in Singapore to do so! Now I don’t have to worry so much about having difficulties finishing the crusts of my pizza. :) Cozily tucked in the corner of City Gate Mall, this small pizzeria boosts a perky interior that will catch a passerby’s eye. Service was good, although they forgot about our last pizza - but served it very promptly after our reminder. We also made a reservation but somehow it was lost in action. Not an issue though because there were many available seats on the Saturday evening we visited. Quite a nice place for a chill, peaceful evening to hang out with friends over pizza. The Burpple 1-for-1 deal makes the pizzas a lot more affordable. Do note that the 1-for-1 deals are only applicable for the Classic Pizzas. Let the staff know your orders instead of ordering through their online system in-store, so you can use your Burpple deals!

Windowsill Pies (2 For 2) From left to right: s'mores pie, morello sour cherry pie, banana almond and cognac pie, coconut lime and vodka pie Third time here and this time I got there at around 12pm (they open at 11am) and there were only about 7 different pie flavours. I got the 2 for 2, so total 4 slices of pies. Morello sour cherry and coconut lime vodka pies are for those who love zesty and sour notes in their pies. Even though I don't often eat sour things, I do like the coconut lime vodka! It was also the first time I've seen this flavour. It came with a dollop of whipped cream on the pie too. Banana almond and cognac is my absolute favourite pie! Love love the crunch in the middle of the pies and the pie crust. Smores is always good! But the pie crust isn't the same as the banana cognac.

morello cherry and s’mores pie morello cherry: extremely sweet but i really like it. but my friend found it a bit sour. s’mores: has a slightly bbq-aftertaste but delicious - has a rich chocolate flavour which i really like. take note that they only allow takeaways also don’t bother going 2 hours after opening time - they usually don’t have much left by then!

Tea Time Pecan pie taste like Chinese pastry, too sticky. Lemon pie was good! They only allow takeaways. Total damage: $12.30

LYCHEE OOLONG tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔

CHICKEN BACON PIE Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋

Charlotte Cake 🍰 Charlotte Cake 📍Dolç Patisserie (@dolcpatisserie) 📌 Outram Park 💰 $9.50 This cake is filled with mascarpone mousse, basil sponge and strawberry compote. I was the most surprised at the addition of basil, but surprisingly, it works insanely well together with the strawberry elements. The mascarpone is light and creamy while the strawberry is sweet and tangy. The herbiness of the basil balances out everything nicely, and generally, this is a really impressive cake! ⭐ Rating: 9/10 🤑 worth the price: a lil pricey but v nice 🦖 would I buy again: maybe 💍 would I marry: yesssss

Pesto chicken Pesto sauce was super flavourful! Chicken breast was not too dry either. This dish usually comes with chips as a side but I opted for their salad cos I love the sauce it comes with.

cremino (dark chocolate) + hazelnut dark choc was SUPER GAO highly recommend it if you like bitter chocolate. it had a powdery mouthfeel though. hazelnut was okay imo, nothing special. you can taste the hazelnut but maybe it got overpowered by the dark choc. ($10 for two regular scoops - cone/cup are the same price)

Matcha Is The Best Venchi from taka basement! Tried this because we had time to spare and was looking for dessert places after lunch! 🍦Strawberry and chocolate chips 🍦Mango Sorbet 🍦Matcha (with white chocolate, pistachio and lemon) 🍦salted caramel The matcha one was the most interesting flavour because of the addition of the white chocolate, pistachio and lemon! Super refreshing taste and very unique! We can't help but wonder about the difference in size of the gelato given though. The right cup was given first and I was whispering to my partner "omg why so small cup!" (Just like one of the reviews we read on Burpple). Not sure if the server heard but she proceeded to make the second cup look TALLER (but actually there are empty holes at the bottom so the volume given is still the same lol) No seats. We took it to the taka foodcourt to eat. Portion was TOO LITTLE The ice cream was too little, serving at the tip of the cup.. unlike the other reviews in Burrple the ice cream serving was much more than what we were given.. not sure if it was because they knew we were using Burrple beforehand (if yes, it is really inconsistent)

Divine felafel sandwich Not only is this place kosher, halal, and vegan, but it also shows that vegan food can be tasty too <3 I love the fill free sandwich. I also recommend the pita chips and the babaghanoush 🤩

back at my fav place for hummus & pitas! I tried their PITA CHIPS ($3.50) which was 1.5 pitas cut into thin strips & deep-fried till crunchy💥💥 They were then dusted with cajun & za’atar, and served with tahini and harissa. super addictive but pls share bcoz i finished it and the oil was swimming in my stomach HAHA

Black sesame gelato cup 6.2nett The black sesame flavour really was strong. Their gelato is less sweet, more sandy less indulgent. Pretty good execution

1 for 1 Ice Cream w Cone (by using KAIKAI) I almost forgot to redeem the ice cream from celine gelato via kaikai. I ordered Classic ($0) - Chocolate Hazelnut + Premium ($0.54) - Matcha Almond. But good thing that I managed to visit before the expiry date for the voucher lol. I felt that gelato was quite thick but smooth texture and didn't melted it off so fast. Chocolate Hazelnut was quite strong nutty and bitter taste whereas Matcha Almond was quite light nutty and bitter taste.

not bad!! strawberry panna cotta was pretty good!! but had to be drank fast (which was hard because of how rich it is) as the milk will start to oxidise. i much preferred the black tea panna cotta!! it was v fragrant and not as sweet, which paired really well with the thick panna cotta

Pasta, Iberico pork, cauliflower The portion was on the smaller side but food tasted not bad! Not a lot of mains options.

Iberico Secreto ($26+ U.P.), Barramundi ($26+ U.P.), Roasted Cauliflower ($15+), Pita & Hummus ($12+, Not Pictured) Moosehead has been on my wish list to check out with girlfriends for a long time, a Saturday evening in 2022 was finally the right time. While our mains of barramundi and iberico secreto came in “dainty” portions fit for ladies, they were well handled and packed coordinating flavours with their condiments. Our sides of cauliflower and pita with hummus then kept us satiated. This is a place I’d return to for a causal alfresco sort of dining ambience with good food.

Good flavours Barramundi was ok with the sweet tomatoes but the fish was not the most fresh. only worth with burpple 1f1!

Duck Confit Tagliatelle ($28) I decided to use burpple 1 for 1 voucher for trying their pasta (mains). I finally trying their best selling pasta after a long time. But I felt that their pasta was a bit thick as hard to chew thru. Duck confit was quite tender and not that hard. But fried hazelnut reminded me of Ferrero Rocher enhance the pasta's taste.

Breaded Oyster ($15) The oyster was freshly made fried on the spot when the customer order. I felt that the oyster got too much for batters, still juicy, crunchy and crispy texture for first try.

Chicken Parmigiana ($27) My sister felt that it was quite overwhelming for tomato sauce tbh. But then breaded chicken cutlet got too much batter inside lol.
