The pork burgers, though small but enjoyable. It is more like a side dish than a main. Good to share with your friend! Pork patty was done in a generous amount with crispy bacon! It is an expensive choice, but rather worth the try. 👍

A very crunchy snack, premium grade sweet potato fried every day, available in three sizes. One is never enough. Also the shop offers steamed sweet potato with skin and without skin.
Lina has very quickly become my favourite kuih spot - mostly because it's just across from work and the Aunty there always just tells me which one to buy (she knows I only want the ones that were just made).
These little steamed cakes make a delightful mid afternoon snack. The coconut tops have a saltiness that so well complements and brings out the sweetness of the pandan base. Light, fluffy and such a treat!
Yummy traditional pastry from Loong Fatt... Love its salty tau Sar Piah and its always sold out by noon custard cake.. Rainbow cake, lemon meringue tart etc can take the backseat... I'm gg to enjoy these old stuff with my kopi right now!

Ang Ku Kueh / 紅龜粿 is the Hokkien(a Chinese dialect) name for a steamed glutinous rice flour cake stuffed with a sweet filling. “Ang / 紅” means “red”, while “Ku / 龜” refers to “tortoise” and “Kueh / 粿” means “cake”. The name is derived from the traditional method of making red tortoise shell-shaped cakes as a symbol of longevity and good fortune.
Auspicious words are usually carved into Ang Ku Kueh moulds so that they are imprinted on top of the kueh, when they are knocked out of the mould. The AKKs are retailing @ 80 cents each if I didn't remembered wrongly and they've got almost 10(?) different flavours for you to choose from!

I love tutu kueh, and the ones from here are, and always have been my favourite. Unlike most other tutu kuehs I've had, the white flour is actually tasty and they're so generous with the fillings that some of them crack because they weren't able to pack it with enough of the white flour.
Most travel to Queensway for sportswear, but I actually really come for these. ;)
A bite into it, my eyes brighten up. The inside of the puff comes with chicken, potato, egg stuffing perfumed by the spices which you can taste in Indian curry. I really enjoyed this.
