Decent western fare If you're around the area and don't mind some Kopitiam western food, @skinnychef_sg is an option you can go for! I got myself a Half Spring Chicken ($8) with herb rice and sauteed mushrooms, and I was blown away by the size of the fried chicken. It was also well fried, as the crust was crispy and chicken within was succulent. The seasoning penetrated the chicken well, and I didn't need any sauce even for the breast portion. The batter itself had an interesting seasoning, as it was slightly sweet and salty which made it addictive. My partner had Grilled Salmon ($14), which may appear dry but it was actually very succulent and tender within! It's interesting how they also separated the skin from the meat and grilled it into a crackling. That itself was addictive too! Sides for all mains were just normal, nothing much to shout out about. For finger food, both the Cheese Fries ($4.50) and Salt & Pepper Fish ($4.50) came in huge portions and they were just alright too. I would come back for their Spring Chicken definitely! Questionable deal Visited Skinny Chef Changi Road on 20 Feb 2024 around 6.20pm to enjoy the deals but unable to select the deal because the Burple message says restaurant is currently closed. But the stall was open and the stall operator told me I could not enjoy the deal since I could not select the deal on Burple. I had to pay full price. Is the deal published on Burple misleading? How are members’ interest protected? BTW, the deals would only expire on 31 March 2024 as shown on Burple.

Pork Collar Chop The Pork collar Chop has many positive google reviews. It was quite easy to eat and not as dry as I pictured it prior. The pork chop was quite tasty and the black pepper sauce really goes well with it. Many sides to choose from, so will be spoiled for choice.

Durian Pengat, Kueh, Cakes & Bandung I came for the cheap iftar buffet and it's indeed of cheap standard. You have to top up money for drinks but they're all diluted. The durian pengat was passable, while the other desserts you can get the same from your neighbourhood bakery.

Grilled Lamb Leg I came for the cheap iftar buffet and it's indeed of cheap standard. This is from the self-service carving station. Although some parts were flavourful, more often than not I got the impression it's cheap lamb that's also not cooked well.

Fried Chicken Thigh I came for the cheap iftar buffet and it's indeed of cheap standard. This was no different from caifan's version.

Cumi bali 38++ This is the most ridiculous thing here. One squid for 40bucks??? No doubt well cooked, the texture was slightly chewy but not as good as the atas restaurants(and even they sell at a lower price). The peanutty sauce was decent and unique too But for 40bucks, steer clear Overall this place is not special enough to visit, not at this price at least

Mutton rendang 30++ It's got a darker taste than the normal rendang we are used to, and the colour reflects that. The spices were also not exactly the same, but the mutton was somewhat dry and tough Not the best

Satay Madura 20++ Ckn was tender, the spices used were quite complex and not exactly anything I've had before. However it really doesn't matter if it's put on a skewer or not, its not really a satay anymore because of how thick the ckn pieces were
