I have to say expectations felt short on this one as I couldn't really taste the honey as the cream overwhelmed it. The tinge of Earl grey also came in during the after taste and I thought the texture of the cake could be better!

As a tea lover, one of my favourite things to do is to guess the taste of each tea I try. For this, I had such a hard time because of the many flavours that came up each time I took a sip. My first instinct was malt and honey simple then I realise there was a much stronger after taste to it. It took me a couple of times to figure out that it could be chocolate as well. I love how every sip feels different. Their hidden location makes it a perfect location for an afternoon read as well.

I don't usually review about the tea I try even thought I am a huge fan of them because most of them taste rather similar. However, the teas in Antea social proved me wrong as the golden pomelo was surprisingly refreshing and pleasant on the taste buds even thought there was a tinge of citrus taste. It complemented well with musky and strong oolong tea to give a light final taste. Will go back to try more of their teas!!

I had mixed feelings about this dessert as my friends and I were initially there for another dessert that had been taken off the menu. We were recommended this instead and I like how smooth and consistent the chocolate mousse was; creamy and yet not too sweet. You could also taste the cacao with each bite. I thought that the whipped cream was unnecessary as it didn't actually complement the taste of the chocolate mousse and made the entire dessert a little too sweet.

The baked potatoes were crisp and baked to golden brown on the outside and yet soft on the inside. The amount of spicy aioli given was very generous and it provided an addition spice to the potatoes!

My honest take was that this was definitely not worth 14 dollars for 4 pieces of plain looking potato croquette. But I quickly changed my mind when I realise that the mashed potatoes and ham is batter is mixed so well. My only complaint is the aioli sauce which seemed a little watered down. Otherwise, it will be perfect for the a glass of red Sangria!

This beef burger is a classic example of a dish that is just way too tempting that I sank my teeth into the dish before I could even take a photo of it. Even though the beef patty was a little dry, the bun stood out a lot as it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; which isn't common for most burgers I have tried

I was never a vongole person until I was recommended this by se7enth staff and everything changed. I was pleasantly surprised with the chefs mastery of ensuring that wine used in the sauce does not overpower the essence of the clams used in this dish. The grilled scallops were the best addiction as it enhanced the flavours of the dish with its crunchiness!

If I have to pick a stand out dish, it has to be the crispy chicken wing coated with honey and truffle oil. The first thing that hits you is the aroma of the truffle oil and later comes the crispy batter which enhance the chicken wings with the crunch. I literally felt that I was in seventh heaven with each bite. A must order if you ever visit this lovely place with excellent ambience!

I don't usually eat chicken skin but because this one was so well done; imagine soft and succulent chicken pieces. The ginger paste too was very well blended and it enhanced the taste of the chicken so much that it felt that eating chicken rice at times. Definitely lived up as the signature of soup restaurant!

I finally got the chance to try a ramen where most of the ingredients comprised of shrimp; one of my favourite seafood. Needless to say, Paradise group delivered once more as the broth is creamy and rich with shrimp essence and is well complemented with big prawn paste and dumplings. I thought the prawn paste and bug prawns were a little too overcooked. The prawn dumplings were the stand out as it was firm, bouncy and chewy. Heard lots of good reviews about their dry noodles so I might just be back to try that.

The first thing that caught my eye was how fresh and chunky the sashimi which I picked out was; I selected the medium bowl which enabled me to select 4 different sashimi ( salmon, tuna, scallop and swordfish). I enjoyed the meal a lot and the grates wasabi made it even better. The only complaint is probably the rice which I thought was too sticky and wet. Otherwise, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch choice!
