Both were SO GOOD i cant pick a favourite. One is refreshingly light & fluffy with a generous serving of crunchy rockmelon. The other, a mishmash of interesting flavours & textures; butterfly pea flower-coloured glutinous rice with a mousse-like top that tasted like pandan(?) but had a slight savoury taste too.

I would say they complement each other. I just kept going back and forth between the two and the plates were wiped out within minutes 😄

Our table of 3 went for the Wholly Bucket ($139 including two sides of our choice; serves 3-4pax) and it was such a delight! The staff literally came over clutching a bucket and proceeded to pour out the fragrant & drool worthy contents on the table lined with plastic and grease paper.

We chose their signature chilli kicap sauce and opted for fries and fried mantou for our sides. I could see why the chilli kicap is popular; it was savoury and packed a spicy punch. The two crabs were huge and fleshy and there were also big prawns and so many clams and mussels... as if that isn’t enough, there were also hotdogs, potatoes & corn drenched in all that chilli kicap goodness.

My dining companions and I had a really great meal and were already discussing about returning to try their Wholly seafood nasi lemak which comes in a huge plate for 3-4pax as well😍

Really like the moist sponge layers and that the cinnamon taste was not as strong as some of the versions I have tried. The walnut pieces gave this dessert a nice crunch & added texture to the cake.

Lovely flavours and aroma of mushroom & truffle oil but really small a serving for the $23 price tag.

Shared the rainbow cake & Valrhona chocolate cake with Sis and we both agreed their cakes were surprisingly good👍🏻

The rainbow cake was moist and the cream cheese was just enough to give it a more full bodied taste but not too much that it makes you feel sick after a fee bites. In fact, I couldn’t stop after the first bite 😄

The Valrhona chocolate cake reminded us of the Starbucks Ovaltine chocolate cake, but a fresher version. The cake was softer and the chocolate richer. Had this with their matcha latte and it was a little heavy overall. Should have gotten an iced tea instead~

Ordered this simple bowl of goodness in regular size. I thought it looks small but turns out it was sufficient for most diners in my opinion, especially if you’re intending to grab some of the tempura as well. We had the vegetable tempura which was well battered and goes really well with the tempura sauce from the self serve condiments counter; chicken karaage was well marinated and while it wasn’t piping hot, at least it wasn’t soggy.

A fuss free and relatively wallet friendly place to dine in town👍🏻 Would definitely be back to try the rest of the flavours 😋

Bought this just cos I was curious about the taste. It was surprisingly tasty and i liked the added crunch and sweetness from the corn as well. I would definitely go return for this too. My only complain would be how small the serving is 😆

I’m usually wary of pretty cakes. There have been so many that looks good but taste mehhh~

But after seeing Boufe’s VERY photogenic cakes all over Instagram, I decided they might be well worth the try, even if not for my tummy, at least “for the ‘gram”.

Totally glad I did because these are indeed some pretty spectacular cakes! The taste were interesting and unique; and although the marriage of flavours might seemed unlikely, each one blended perfectly well with the other. (For example the Unicorn was a chocolate mousse and mango cremeux with vanilla sponge and white chocolate; while the Milkyway was white chocolate yoghurt mousse with calamasi jelly amongst other ingredients)

Prices are about to $8-$9 but i find that for the presentation PLUS taste, they well justified 👍🏻

Sis ordered this is & i stole a bite. We both love the slight smoky taste of the sweet & spicy sauce (kinda like the wok hei in zi char cooking).

Flashed the Burpple app for a 1-for-1 ppong promo! Yayyy😋👏🏻

I saw the description “tomato and cream sauces topped with flying fish roe & mozzarella cheese” and I’m sold😍 So in love with the chewy noodles too!

Came specially for this but left feeling somewhat mehhh. Perhaps it was the huge bunch of bean sprouts in it that i do not take. Hence the bad start. But the soup did not taste anything special as well(?). Couldn’t really taste the difference in the soup before and after mixing in the pieces of butter too. Chashu was rather bland despite having soaked the pieces in the broth for a while.

I liked the noodles though; it was firm & chewy. Wouldn’t return for this for $19 but my ramen-loving soul would still be game to try the other variations on the menu ~
