Pork Toast (RM6 for 2; RM12 for 4) My only regret was not having enough tummy space to fit four of these scrumptious babies in me. It was so sinfully-delicious; a flavourful pork patty sandwiched between two thin slices of bread and pan fried (?) till an even colour is achieved, then drizzled with chilli mayo! Do yourself a favour and get this as a side. You may be too full to talk properly after the meal but it’s worth it!

Homemade Spam Sandwich The secret to this mouthwatering, lip-smacking, dopamine-inducing dish is.. the fluffy milk bread and the juicy (not to mention THICC) spam. Doesn’t look like it’s a filling dish, but trust me, the meaty spam is enough to fill you up. But if you’re brave and if you’re dying for another plate of these babies, go ahead and order another one for yourself. It’s worth it.

Apple Puff (RM12) Very flaky but filling too sweet.

Messy-looking Open-faced Chicken Focaccia (RM20) very creative of them to incorporate brinjal into sandwich (though am not a big fans of it).

Simple Looking Yet Complex Cured salmon, avocado and cheese sandwich served with side salad (RM22). Love how they actually take the effort to season its side salad 🥗 very refreshing and really stimulate your appetite. Needless to say, Yin is the expert in making sourdough bread. Warm toasted bread with just the right amount of filling between the sandwich. Yummzz! Definitely will go back and get some baked goods!

Best Beef Burger In Town Juiciest beef patty I’ve ever had. The meal is simple, just the burger and no sides like salad or fries but no complaints because it’s more than enough. My fave burger in town !

Spanish Tuna Provencal & Aged Gouda Croissant (RM21) Can this cafe do no wrong? Apparently not (okay fine, maybe they’re a bit expensive). The croissant I had today was beautifully plated and woo so yummy. The briny tuna plays well with deeply flavoured gouda shavings, while ash, roe and herbs come in as extras for a perfect punch.

Scrambled Eggs On Toast Simple but every bite was so delightful, I didn't even pick up my phone for a second. That says a lot because I'm usually a solo diner and rely on my phone a lot to entertain myself when eating. Toast is just nice, chewy and slightly crisp. Scrambled egg was creamy and mmmhhh.

Beef Skewers With Chakalaka Sauce The chunks of charred beef was slightly tough on certain cuts but it goes really well with the South African spicy relish. RM40 per serving.

Pork Carnitas Chunks of tender marinated pork cooked in a creamy spicy cashew sauce and crispy corn chips. RM30 per serving.

Flat Bread With Moutabal Generous serving of flat bread served with Moutabal and spicy harissa dip. Love the dip. RM20 per serving.

Average affordable cafe in S2 Uptown.. The cakes are pretty delicious..

Signature Goloso Latte The house special signature drink with a crunchy chocolate cookies on the bottom. It turn out surprisingly nice and fun to enjoy it.

Beautiful Drinks And A Quiet Place To Hang Out! We visited this place a few times and love the drinks and food here. We had cafe latte and matcha latte accompanied by a bowl of tomato based seafood soup. It’s delicious. Food and drinks has a nice presentation to it. Try it today!!

Vegetarian Thali Opted for the thali for lunch. They have 2 sizes: small (with 3 veges) and standard (with 4 veges). You can choose between chapati or rice. The curry wasn’t spicy enough for me, might be ok for those with lower tolerance for spiciness. I had it with chapati and the portion was just right for me. If you have a big appetite, this isn’t the thing for you. The small is RM8 while the standard is RM11.

Coffee To Go Singapore’s coffee house - CCSH has popped up across the causeway, but with a space that is both aesthetically pleasing, and smelling. Coffee beans are being roasted daily, and you’d be able to get the usual suspects - Throwback and Nuts and Bolts, available both as beans to go or in the hopper for your daily cuppa. They also have a range of filter brew and daily brew that you can choose from and we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our choices. Didn’t get a chance to get brunch, but it seems like a hit among the locals, and tourists alike based on the crowd we saw on a Sunday morning.
