Onion Salmon Mayonaise ($3.99++) Surprisingly good though I'm not a big fan of mayo and salmon. The onion gave a nice crunch to the salmon. The rice was a little soft to my liking, and some of them didn't stick together properly, but other than that, the quality is pretty good.

Cajun Chicken Bowl ($12.90) Chicken wasn’t too bad either but I prefer their salmon and unagi over this.

Mentaiko Salmon Bowl ($15.90) Found another fav shop on burrple 1-1 Salmon wasn’t over cooked and it retained its juice inside. Rice was healthy brown rice !! Only wish was if there were more of that sauce.

Unagi Don Unagi don ($15.90), served with steamed brown rice, consists grilled eel fillets that are glazed with a sweetened soy-based sauce and caramelized

Sweet Memories Bid Thee Well It's a shame the cafe scene veterans have shuttered today, permanently. Another unfortunate casualty of the F&B climate, which is tougher now than ever. Here's their 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 — melt-in-mouth clouds with a fine dose of earl grey fragrance. I'm also going to miss their ondeh ondeh kaya toast, which was truly one of a kind. Earl Grey Bubble Tea Souffle Pancake ($14++) *Antoinette will close all its operations on 30 June . Served with Earl Grey chantilly cream and tapicoa pearls stepped in black sugar . The souffle pancake was so light that it melts in your mouth almost instantly . However the highlight for me was the Earl Grey chantilly cream. I could taste the strong Earl Grey flavour which compliments the sweet tapicoa pearls . One of the better bubble tea inspired desserts

Ondeh Ondeh Kaya Toast ($6) *Antoinette will close all its operations on 30 June . Ondeh Ondeh version of Kaya Toast . Chef Pang’s house-made pandan kaya; a light yet divinely rich concoction of coconut cream and pure pandan juice, smeared across crisp Italian ciabatta and lastly topped with French butter, coconut shreds and gula melaka syrup . The kaya was creamy and a nice pandan fragrance . And the generous French butter tones down the sweetness from the gula melaka syrup . A truly Onde(licous) experience .

Matcha Latte (Hot) ($7.50) luckily i ask no sugar and got strong matcha taste and not much milky and creamy aftertaste.

Deviled Spam ($10.50) I opt out for charcoal bagel. I decided to try it out after long time. I noticed that their pricing increased a bit after 2 years later. So I just order some much cheaper choice. The bagel got creamy and milky sauce with the thick cut spam.

Classic B.E.C I just order classic B.E.C ($12) from onalu again but different flavour for bagel 😅 but the original taste more bread texture compared to sesame taste taste more nutty.

Unagi Don A cozy Japanese restaurant here at Fook Hai Building, serving authentic Japanese food and sake. They have different special offer everyday. Go for their lunch set that is money value, comes with miso soup and salad. The unagi was cooked perfect and juicy, serving on top of Japanese rice.

Salmon Ikura Don The taste was decent. The staff was super helpful. Small serving but worth it with the 1-for-1 deal Would give it a 6.5/10.

Salmon Hotate Don The salmon and scallop were fresh! All in all, tasty dish. However, the dish is rather small and may not be filling for some. Price is also rather expensive ($21.90++) but worth it with the 1-for-1 deal!

Salmon rice bowl Pretty enjoyable! Enjoyed this more than I thought. Hoped there was more salmon though.

Normal Daily Bowl Nothing special about this place, honestly. Only plus point is their deal 1-for-1 for Burpple Beyond members. The salmon was hard & dry, the rest just average ingredients.

Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl Super filling, yummy and healthy Japanese styled bowls - the runny egg tops it off 🤤 It’s super worth with burpple beyond. They have 50% off every second bowl on weekends too!

Cleaner CBD Lunch Option I love it that I didn’t have to include carbs in this bowl but was still so full 😋 ordered a small bowl, and picked lettuce, spinach, carrots, broccoli, fish n topped it w their famous broccoli purée n kale. Would order again 😚

Their bowls are fully customisable, and you pay per portion for any combination of carbs, proteins, and sides, including baked dory, kale chips, and honey soy chicken. Protein Bowl ($10.90) Visited Yobo for the first time and ordered a medium size protein bowl (one for one with burpple beyond ). You can bet that it’s super healthy and filling. Love the chill vibes at this restaurant, and if you fancy you can even sit at the little garden right beside to soak in some vitamin D.

Chunky Lobsters Taste could be stronger. Ordered the Connecticut and Original. Taste of Original was stronger. Chips were good! A little pricey if we didn’t have the burpple

Cheesy Lobster Got the 1 for 1 deal, $12.90 each The cheese in it is really good with the Q-Q-of the lobster! The bread would be nicer toaster. Came with sides of potato chips

Ham And Cheese Waffle – $2.70 Long queue for the waffle at this bakery! They have a lot of flavours available – both sweet and savoury but I still prefer Prima Deli’s batter

Yuzu Red Bean Loaf Bread loaf baked with yuzu infused within it and stuffed with lots of red bean. Red bean was slightly on the drier side but the portion was generous. Bread was soft and fluffy.

Smokey Beef Bowl It's beef bowl is indeed smokey, with it being slightly overwhelmed by the teriyaki sauce. The cod fish bowl was good too! A little taken aback by the miso soup with beef essence too. (On burpple one for one! ) Love the veggie ratio here!

Affordable and Very Filling We like that it opens till 9pm near CBD, the pork bowl was great and very very filling. I find the Wagyu beef too tough to bite but my friend enjoyed it. Both meats are slightly charred. Worth it with Beyond redemption!

Truffle Tender Don ($24) Used the 1-for-1 promotion at Tokidon. It’s a small restaurant with a selected menu. Being the truffle whore I am, I dived straight into the Truffle Tender Don. I was definitely impressed by the aroma wafting in the air, tempting me to take a bite before I was done with the photos. One of my biggest concerns with rice bowl is the surplus of sauce which I feel ruins the overall flavor of the dish, but there wasn’t such an issue here. The only complaint I have is that the beef was slightly dry. It was still tender, just not juicy enough!
