Karen u can't just ask why this dish is dark. Champagne ribs ($18 for small I think?) - since we chanced upon this zichar I frantically googled for the popular dishes and all I saw were champagne ribs and chilli crab. Kinda bummed about not ordering the chilli crabs because dang those mantous looked so crispy 😩

Anyway.
These ribs though. They were life changing ribs I tell ya!!!!!! The sauce were sweet and sticky but not too sweet and were also kinda salty and the ribs even though they were super thick (like me thighs) they were very very tender (I don't know if they're like my thighs) although it wasn't falling off the bone type of tender. But finger lickin gud although I was already bursting by then.
Tad expensive for 4 pieces of ribs but for a life changing experience?? Worth it. (Ok also because I didn't have to pay for it hahahah)

I have no reviews because I've tried this before but I'm just gonna add it in just cus I'm challenging myself to have 100 bingsus. It's honestly not very smart to spend this much money on bingsus. But I'm not very smart so HAHA who's laughing now.

Mixed platter ($14.90) which includes a beer battered fish, breaded fish, oysters (or was it mussels tbh I really couldn't tell...) and calamari + chips. This honestly was so worth it and the fish was pretty good too. Everything was fried well, nothing too soggy or bland or whatever. And for $14.90 you also get a soup and drink too I mean, this is pretty worth it 💁🏻

($17) I like the fact that they gave v generous amounts of smoked salmon 👍🏻👍🏻 worth my $$. But the poached eggs came quite rather cooked yolks which was disappointing and the sourdough toast were too hard and tough to cut through easily. Nonetheless the hollandaise sauce tasted just right, not too vinegary. I probably wouldn't be back anytime soon no idea why I thought of driving all the way there hahahah #burpple (i also like this dish cos it's named after a good film lol)

It was alright, tad oily at the top, not too sour or anything. Did expect it to be creamier (something like the one at Hardware Societe in melbs). Can't compare to the world's best brunch country right?? Hahaha. Although I think it would be better if the bread came in sticks so it's easier to handle rather than a large piece of bread.

($15.90) hahaha ever since I had the ricotta hotcake at Barry's in melbs (where else...) I've very proudly joined the ricotta hotcake bandwagon like it's even better than waffles!!!! And I LOVE waffles!!! So basically I was curious to try this place out (pun intended ha!!!) cus they offer ricotta hotcakes!!! Anyway since we were getting hotcakes we decided to get the 'savourier' one out of the 3 on the menu (the other 2 were berry and peach) in the form of candied bacon! Tbh the hotcake itself was pretty dense, could be fluffier (which is what I love about ricotta hotcakes). There were caramelised onions too and I think that's the weird part. Like vanilla ice cream, candied bacon + caramelised onions just don't match very well hahah after a few bites it started to taste weird. I would like to try the peach one if I'm back there sometime.

charcoal waffles with salted egg yolk sauce + 2 scoops ($15) have heard of the charcoal waffles and salted egg yolk sauces from ice cream cafes so often I've finally gone and try it out!!!!!! 🙃🙃🙃 my friend @chuanananana did warn me it wasn't very good but still went ahead anyway....could barely taste the salted egg yolk sauce and my verdict is just...maybe it's time to lay off the salted egg yolk in every food possible 🙄 (that being said if u gave me any salted egg yolk foods I will be like yaaaaaAAAAAAAS GIMME) #burpple

pulled pork burger ($16) + caramel latte ($6) - the pulled pork was succulent and reminded me of a pulled pork burger I had somewhere a long time ago which was really yummy but it's quite pricey for a burger this size though I know that pulled pork does take quite a long time to make¿ but nonetheless yummier than other pulled pork burgers in fancier cafes I've eaten

generous servings of tuna & salmon sashimi + usual poke bowl ingredients. Worth ordering! 👍🏻

The pork belly was pretty succulent albeit being too chewy at the fatty area for my liking & wished they used normal kimchi instead of chopping/blending it into a pasty consistency.A little pricey for a burger consisting of just kimchi and pork belly though. Had to add $ for this egg. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Big Mac fried rice ($24) has everything you'd find in a Big Mac (hence the name duh) but instead of buns u get rice we Asians love our rice very much ok? Out of the dishes we ordered I think this was the least worth it though cos...I could've eaten a Big Mac for much less $. Of course you can't compare with the ingredients used but I definitely think you'd be better off ordering something else on the menu
