The signature Egg & Spaghettini - creamy torched hollandaise, super generous and fragrant truffle that enveloped each bite of al dente pasta! The fume poulet was great as well, with smokey skin and succulent meat. #BurppleXChope

The charred and juicy roasted chicken thigh ($24) was simply a beauty to behold (and taste) 😍 - along with generous amount of gooey caramelised onions, creamy but textured pea mash and fingerling potatoes 😋🍽 Of course, we had to get their staple fish and chips ($25) too 😆 crisp, light and moist fish, only gripe was that I wished the portion was larger! Both were part of a 3 course lunch set - $30.

Waffles were fluffy and chewy, sweet with a slight caramelised glaze! Though the sheen made the waffle to cut as it quickly cooled down. Love that the soft serve was smartly perched on a biscuit, as I don't like soggy waffles. It was SO CROWDED, be prepared to queue! Service was fine, but was (politely) indirectly suggested to leave after finishing my food 😞

Ingenious sweet and savory pairing - brûléed Brie, melty and crunchy textures on crispy toast. A bruschetta good even when cooled! Coffee is decent, but the toasts were such joyful morsels that I can't wait to try other dishes.

Generously packed sandwich, pastrami was just moist and flavorful. Rye bread was crisply toasted, pity it got soggy due to the watery pickle beside it. Sauerkraut inside was good! Beetroot soup had plenty of sour cream, viscosity was pleasant, but quite forgettable. Get the salmon/trout salad instead! Well balanced flavors, not too salty.
