risotto pollo ($14.90) risotto was cooked just nice, not too soft or too hard and sauce was quite nice as well. it had a good amount of spice while still retaining the sweetness of the tomato sauce. chicken was ok. portion didn’t seem big but it didn’t leave me feeling hungry so that’s good unfortunately a lot of their better sounding menu choices are excluded from the burpple deal :( also there was only one person working at the time but the place was p empty so that’s fine. overall q affordable with burpple for a fairly decent and simple meal, wouldn’t mind coming again but maybe not my first choice 👍🏻👍🏻

Al Grandchio Pasta was nice! A lovely surprise as it was pretty empty on a Friday night. Prices are pretty affordable, averaging below $20 per main. Only gripe is they don't serve water. Will try their pizza next time!

Sausage with paprika cream sauce $11.9, Bacon aglio olio $9.9 Super worth it with the 1 for 1 and prices are nett and food is good! The bacon aglio olio was very fragrant with the garlic and pepper and chili, and was slightly spicy. The bacon pieces were also quite generous. The cream sauce had a good balance of paprika flavour to the cream and it did not overpower the whole dish. Sausage was good as well, and did not taste like cheap quality and wasn’t too salty. The cream sauce might be jelak after several bites for some so recommended to share!

Pirikara Cha Shu Ramen KINEX remains a low footprint mall but there’s actually plenty of food selections here, including this Japanese restaurant. Serving extensive Japanese cuisine with wide range of menu. I gotten the spicy soup ramen with cha shu, which you also can get it with gyu instead. Tasty bowl of soup with hint of spicy, not to overwhelming. There’s lots of corn given, accompanied with seaweed and pieces of cha shu. I like the cha shu which retain the fat.

Umeshu Jelly End off your meal with their refreshing Umeshu Jelly ($8++) made with Japanese plum liquor & wholesome wolfberries! 🤤

Unagi Cha Zuke I also enjoyed this Unagi Cha Zuke from their Omakase menu. 😋 Pour the umami Kombu Dashi stock 🥣 over the quality rice from the Akita prefecture in Japan 🍚 for a comforting meal.

Double Scoops ($10.20) i choose aphrodite (blue cheese) & (seasonal edition) christmas rose for double scoop. I finally tried their gelato after a long time for wishlist. I like seasonal edition flavour as taste like nutty and sweet aftertaste whereas aphrodite taste like strong cheese taste w strong chocolate aftertaste. I felt that it's a bit jelak but the boss did warned me before ordering it.

Ice Cream This is their CNY special, unfortunately didn’t note down what’s the flavours thinking they would share on their social media. But there’s wasn’t any info on their social media about this CNY special flavours. But it tastes rich and flavourful.

Duroc Pork Cutlet with Rice Like Berkshire pork, Duroc pork is a type of heritage pork but is comparatively less well known. Prized for its incredible tenderness and juiciness, the meat has a high degree of marbling and a relatively mild 'porky' flavour profile. The Butcher's Dining served their duroc pork in the form of a Korean pork cutlet. Unlike their japanese counterpart, Korean pork cutlet or dongaesu are served thinner, unsliced and with a sweet savoury demi glacé sauce on top. We absolutely loved TBD's rendition of this dish. The pork was juicy and melt in your mouth tender with a rich yet subtly sweet flavour. It was served with Korean rice (yay!) and sides of a savoury yet fiery pickled chilli and mac and cheese. To be honest, we will be back for this any day and any time!

Pulled Pork Burger ($19) The Butcher's Dining is an interesting dining concept. Besides housing a Korean gourmet butchery and grocer that sells everything from korean meat cuts and (atas) Korean condiments to ready to go meal packs for those who want to eat from the comfort of their home but are lazy to do the prep work, there is also an all day dining cafe which serves a somewhat limited range of Korean inspired cafe fare. The spicy pulled pork burger is one of their signature items and features soft tender spicy pulled pork marinated with gochujang sauce, topped with in-house pickles, thinly sliced rings of onion, and shredded carrot and cabbage. The portion is to be honest on the small side considering the price. We however liked how the various components - the sweetness of the pulled pork, the spicy and savoury gochuchang, the sharp bite of raw onions and the zesty flavours of the pickles - come together with each bite. It's a tasty burger though on the pricey side.

Tried the 1 for 1 and was disappointed Shape was deformed and it was 50% yogurt soup / water at the bottom. Maybe the new guy didn't make it properly. I think it's just an issue with this branch because I've had better Smooy elsewhere... don't waste ur money here even if it's 1 for 1

Froyo Madness 3 ⭐️/ 5 Got my 1-for-1 classic deal ($5.90). Had the option to get chocolate ice-cream or frozen yoghurt. I obviously had to go for the froyo. There was a wide array of toppings to choose from (drizzles, cookies, etc) & was spoilt for choice as we could only pick two 😋😋 definitely value for money! However, taste-wise for the froyo was just like any other regular froyo. But do drop by for a quick cold dessert if you’re in the area!

Chicken Katsu x Mushrooms & Fish Katsu x Teriyaki Chicken Mama Don is very generous with their portion, their food is also tasty. Worth the price paid 👍

Burpple Beyond Value Combo Had: - Strip-loin Beef + Shiitake & Button Mushroom Don - Grilled Teriyaki Chicken + Grilled Salmon Salad The don has a soft boiled egg, corn, and broccoli. The salad consists of greens, broccoli, cherry tomato, corn and carrot! We ordered chose medium doneness for beef, a little bit tough as expected for medium but still nice! They were delicious and the Burpple deal is totally worth it for its portion! Filling indeed. A chill and quiet place for a Friday evening!

Teriyaki Chicken + Mushroom Don The portions here are SUPER GENEROUS. I could barely see the rice under all the ingredients! It was quite delicious as well, managed to finish the toppings, but couldn’t quite finish the rice haha! It’s super worth with the beyond deal! Either go on a super empty stomach, or with more friends to share! It’s the same store as Kraft Kitchen, and there’s quite a decent selection of desserts too!

Mookata Cocokata offers value sets at $28/50 for 2/4 pax 🥘 but you can also opt for a la carte (minimum order of $28). 👌🏻 With both BBQ & soup base (quite a rich herbal taste with a hint of sweet coconut water 🥥), enjoy the best of both worlds at one sitting! 🔥 . Meats we had include their beef slices 🥩 ($3), coconut chicken thigh 🐔 ($3; highly recommended! 🌟), pork belly 🐖 ($2.50) & smoked duck slices 🦆 ($3). Marination of the meats was really nice! . For seafood, we had clams ($4) & their handmade prawn paste 🦐 ($10; highly recommended! 🌟). A mix of dory fish & prawns, the paste was soooo soft & tender! . We also ordered their Veggie Basket ($10) & a whole lot of other veggies 🥬 & mushrooms 🍄 ($2 each).
