Yong Tau Foo’s standard has dropped and price has increased.
It’s either $5 or $7 with the option to add $1 for vegetables.
Chocolate cake that has a slight crunch, somewhat taste a bit like kit kat with a bitter chocolatey taste
Price: $9.90, seems a bit overpriced for this slice of cake
French Toast is too dry, it tasted too cake-like instead of bread which is alright if it had been more moist
The taste of sweet potato is strong although it could be less sweet, could not tell if additional sweetener or sugar has been added to the purée.
Pancakes could be softer and be more moist.
Requested to change the flavour of ice-cream and they obliged :)
It was the dessert of the day which came with the Burpple 1-for-1 set, tasted amazing!
Chocolate was rich yet not too thick, the pie crust was baked to a sturdy texture yet not overly hard.
Perfect dessert to end the meal!
We did not order any dessert but we used Burpple Beyond so it came as a set which means we have to pay for it additionally on top of the price of the main
(Both main and dessert were 1-for-1)
Cost: $7
Pasta was well cooked, taste of laksa isn’t cloying yet the aroma of the spices is lacking.
Too many slices of fish cakes given and it seemed to be frozen fish cakes in big slices.
Prawns tasted well and more could be given instead of the huge slices of fish cakes.
Cost: $26
Taste of sweet potato is strong, not too oily, sauce that came with it wasn’t satisfying
Cost: $12
No-frills toasted sandwich with melted cheese and ham, simple and nicely done, quite normal
