Seafood Risotto ($27)
Rating: 10/10
This was AMAZING. Extremely cheesy & tomatoey, and the risotto had great texture too. One may find it jelak, but we all enjoyed it immensely. There was a good amount of seafood included too, and they all tasted very fresh (:
Braised Beef Cheeks ($28)
Rating: 9/10
Beef was extremely tender! I personally felt that the beef taste was a tad too strong, but my friend loved it. Mash was super smooth and yummy 👍🏻
Fried Calamari ($15)
Rating: 8/10
Not applicable for Burrple as it’s a starter
It was interesting that we were served fried baby squid whole! Was expecting the usual calamari rings 😂 but still tasted great!
Food is great but pricey, would probably only come if it’s on Burpple 🥲
Prawn Basil Pesto Pasta ($25)
Rating: 9/10
Strong pesto flavour and tasty! We topped up $3 for the handmade tagliatelle and thoroughly enjoyed it.
My friend who came here once previously commented that it didn’t taste as nice as before. But was still enjoyable on the whole!

The Spicy Mala Beef Noodles were flavourful and had a kick to it. The broth was extremely beefy and enjoyable. Our noodles each came with a side and a drink. The Fish Beancurd was a tad oily, but very delicious. Service was great - my partner dropped a few slices of fish beancurd onto the floor while collecting the food, and the staff immediately went to fry up a few more pieces of it for us 🥹 will come back 💯 !
Had the Kurobeko (Black Angus Prime Rib Eye Steak Katsu). Considering it’s 1 for 1, it’s quite value for money. But to be honest, I probably wouldn’t pay the full price for the meal. Not sure if it was the part of the meat we got, but some parts of it were tender whole other parts were a tad bit chewy. Overall still flavourful and the negishio sauce was great! Portions were huge too. Definitely more than enough for a regular guy as my partner was more than satisfied after the meal.

Spaghetti aglio e olio ($24)
👍🏻 al dente pasta
👎🏻 Could barely taste the garlic :(
👎🏻 Expensive considering that there wasn’t much ingredients apart from the mushroom and capsicum
Pizza - roma
👍🏻 Thin crust pizza, just the way we like!
👎🏻 The gorgonzola taste was reaaaaally mild. Suitable for those who dislike the taste of blue cheese!
Crab and lobster tortellini ($38)
👍🏻 Flavours were good! Could really taste the crab/lobster & the rose sauce wasn’t overpowering
👎🏻 Could probably have more! There were only 7 pieces of tortellini..
On the whole, food was not too bad (maybe 7.5/10). But portions aren’t v big and prices are slightly steep (we paid $74+ for 3 mains, with 30% off). Would probably visit again only with burpple 1-1! Lady serving us was v friendly though!
And just to note that you can’t use Burpple beyond if you make a reservation via Chope!
This fish was AMAZINGGG🤤 Marinated nicely and was extremely juicy. Ordered this and the pork knuckle for 2 pax, which was a tad too much! Would probably be just right for 3 average eaters. Will be ordering this every time I go to Brotzeit next time😍 1-1 on Burpple for this was extremely worth!
Food is not bad, but probably only worth with Burpple 1-for-1!
Pork Belly Miso:
The ramen crisps in the Pork Belly Miso was a bit weird as it was just Mamee crackers..Taste of pork belly was not bad. Pork was well marinated and flavourful.
Aburi Mentaiko Salmon:
Tasty and flavourful. The salmon pieces could be larger for its original price of $16!
Ice Matcha Latte & Ice Latte:
Both were not bad!
Tonnarelli squid ink nero ai fruitti di mare ($38.90++)
Tomato-based sauce was delicious with a hint of spiciness (which I love) but I was most impressed by the generous amount of seafood (mussels, clams, scallops, prawns, sotong!). The waiter was patient and topped up our cups of plain water regularly. He even checked if we needed the aircon temperature to be turned up as we were seated near the aircon. Would definitely be back!
Hard GO ✅ Nett prices, huge portions, delicious food, extremely fast service!

KDM has been around forever and I’ve walked past many times but never gone in. Yesterday was the 1st time and definitely not the last!
2 of us had the chicken bibimbap and kimchi tofu stew that cost only $18 in total (about the price of 1 appetiser / main at other places). Both dishes were flavorful and delicious - the bibimbap had bits of charred rice at the bottom, which I love! The portions were generous and we left the white rice that came with the stew untouched. Most impressively, the food was ready almost immediately before we got to our seats. Would 100% go back for some value for money korean food 🥘
