We had the happie meal A, and we chose the option of the truffle jajjang ramyeon, potato pancake and pork kimchi stew.
The overall ambience of the place was nice, great for a place to have drinks and a meal with friends.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tomidou Omakase.
All the sushi I had was prepared by the Head Chef Akira, and we were able to witness his creativity and expertise while he skilfully prepared the dishes in front of us.
For nigiris, I had the Medium Fatty Tuna, which melted in the mouth and was very succulent, as well as the Kawahagi (Flatfish), which had a refined presentation and was extremely flavourful.
The maki was the main star of the show, containing tamago, cucumber, prawns, sea eel and mushrooms. The variety of ingredients were a great balance of flavours and textures, and went well with the ginger provided.
For soups, I had the pumpkin and spring onion soup for starters, as well as the miso soup with shijimi clams, which was a comforting end to the meal.
Would definitely recommend this place for a fantastic Omakase experience. The ambience was amazing and intimate, and the service was astounding, patiently explaining to us the ingredients and process of making the dishes.
This store is located conveniently near Holland V MRT, and serves amazing beef noodles (ēŗ¢ē§ēčé¢), comparable to the ones Iāve had overseas in Taiwan.
I had the Trio Speciality Beef Noodles, which had boneless rib cut, tendon and golden coin, with the signature braised soup. The beef was tender and extremely soft, melting in my mouth. The noodles were amazing as well, they gave enough bite and overall was a good portion for its price.
I also had the Cold Century Egg Tofu with Bonito Flakes as a side dish, which had many depths in flavour and was a great accompaniment to the main meal, would reccomend for century egg lovers.
For beverage I had the Strawberry Mint Oolong Tea, with no sugar. The drink was very good even without sugar, as the strawberry was like a jam/syrup which added sweetness to the drink.
I loved my experience dining at Meadesmoore. Service and the overall ambience was amazing.
Meadesmooreās menu boasts an impressive array of beef dishes, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The cuts we had were the Short-Rib, which was fatty and full of smoky flavour, as well as the Tri-Tip was tender, meaty and succulent.
For dessert, I had the Seasonal Eton Mess. For the month of august, the flavour was based on the Singaporean dessert Bobochacha. There were many elements of the dish, including the almost crumbs, taro base, coconut cream, meringue, and sweet potato bits that all complemented each other perfectly.
Our dining experience at BBQ under the stars was a pleasant one, as it was an affordable all you can eat dining opinion just a stonesthrow away from sixth avenue MRT station.
We very impressed by the different variety of food options for their all you can eat buffet, our favourites were their fresh daily air flown oysters, spiendini skewers and grilled bananas.
Would highly reccomend to individuals who are looking for an affordable buffet place to have dinner with friends and family.
The Strawberry Lemon Yo Tea was sour and tangy, would recommend for people who love sour drinks! The drinks usually come with 50% sugar level but I ordered less sugar, so that might be why it was slightly sour. But overall a great refreshing drink!
The Matcha Red Bean Classic was great as well, it had azuki beans at the bottom with a topping that resembled silken tofu. This drinkās flavour is slightly more mild than the other one, and the yogurt taste is more pronounced.
PSP latte was surprisingly nice, the coffee taste was strong and left a sweet potato aftertaste. Would reccomend to individuals who love sweet potatoes or caramel lattes, as it is quite sweet.
Had the poached aburi prawn pasta, which reminded me of SGās local prawn noodles but with a western twist. Linguine was served al dente and the prawns were fresh and springy.
Visited Long Black Cafe for dinner on a weekday at Biopolis. Conveniently located near buona vista mrt, it has an outdoor seating concept (but unfortunately there were a few flies that affected our overall dining experience)
We really enjoyed the starters, particularly the tomato bruschetta and spicy tabasco wings. They were crispy, hot and flavourful. Would highly recommend trying.
The mains were okay, but there is definitely space for improvement. I had the supreme steak sandwich, the bread was a bit too flour-y for my liking, and the steak was thin and average.
Lastly I had the signature chocolicious fondant for dessert. I liked the combination of lava cake, blueberry jam and ice cream. Each ingredient complimented the others well, and is worth trying.
Overall I think that the food is acceptable for its affordable price point, and is a reasonable food option for those working nearby.
Really enjoyed our lunch at One Prawn & Co! I had the Supreme Prawn Noodles. I was incredibly surprised at the richness and flavourful-ness of the prawn broth, definitely the best prawn noodles Iāve tasted as of yet. I also tried the Ngoh Hiang Tasting Platter, which allowed me to try 6 different variations of ngoh hiang.
Highly recommend this place for families or dates who are looking for an affordable good quality meal! Will definitely visit again!
We really enjoyed our weekend brunch at FBG! The location extremely near Botanic Gardens MRT, making it a convenient location to have a lovely catch-up over a meal with friends or family.
Starting with beverages, we had the vanilla latte and peppermint tea. The vanilla latte was fragrant and lovely, and the peppermint tea provided a refreshing break in between the dishes.
The Deep Fried Camembert, served with picked jalapeƱo and truffled honey was a lovely appetiser.
For mains we had the Breakfast Fry Up (as seen in the picture), which was generous with the ingredients which all tasted amazing. We really loved how the eggs and mushrooms complemented each other.
The Wagyu Denver Steak and Broccolini was astounding, and paired each other well with a delicious grilled flavour. Would highly recommend their grilled food items, especially to steak-lovers!!
Last but not least, the Classic New York Cheesecake was the perfect end for this lovely meal, the creaminess of the cheesecake was balanced with the sweet wild strawberry compote and zesty passionfruit sauce.
Would highly recommend this place to steak lovers or people who are looking for a brunch venue, the staff are friendly and the food is really good!
Really affordable Japanese food located conveniently near a bus stop. Generous servings of mentaiko, dons and fries were priced reasonably considering the amount of mentaiko added. Will definitely visit again!
Had the black truffle mac and cheese, had plenty of truffle shavings on top instead of the typical truffle oil used by other restaurants. This place has a very chill vibe, great music and ambiance. Located very near an mrt station, convenient to get to. Would visit again!
