Tasty And Affordable Food In A Comfortable Setting We were a group of 5 and we ordered 5 different items off the rather limited lunch menu. Each is on point and really tasty, and we were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices - each bowl cost less than SGD20, and they don't charge GST (just 10% service charge). Enjoyed the cosy and comfortable environment, and service is really attentive with the team always checking in on us and topping up our water without being asked. Will be back another day to try other items on the menu! (One of the chefs on duty that day wasn't very hygienic - we could see from our seats very clearly into the open kitchen. Other than when tasting the food, he also kept his mask down for extended periods of time.)

Waygu Beef Rice Bowl Great delicious Jap-fusion bowls (from top left): Grilled chicken on mashed potatoes, pulled pork linguine, waygu beef rice bowl. Wagyu Gold Mash Beurre recently introduced their brother brand, Fatbowls under the same roof. Offer a much affordable menu for maximum value. The mash is made with French butter, definitely melt in your mouth as they said. The wagyu was prepared in medium.

Moosh softserve (Burpple) Got S'mores and cheesecake. There were only 2 people infront of us but we waited for ~20-25 minutes. Ice cream melts very very fast too. It tasted like a very normal chocolate ice cream. 4/10.

Soft Serve ($4.50 Each) Soft serves are large enough for two. Get the ondeh ondeh if you like coconut flavour. Great to cool you down with the hot weather theses days. And 4.50 for 2 (after burpple 1 for 1) means its even better value than a mcflurry! Do note that there are only 2 seats outside the shop (and none inside)

Cookie Crumble Loved the white choc soft serve! Generous with serving, way more than McFlurry HAHA. With the burpple deal, definitely a great price! :)

Spicy Prawn Pasta Am a lover of spice and this pasta dish definitely has the right amount of spice! It hits you right on the spot, spicy yet super satisfying! Prawns are also fresh!

Har Cheong Gai Chicken Cutlet ($10) One of the dishes that i liked from :Dual is the Har Cheong Gai (prawn paste) Chicken Cutlet. The chicken was crispy and juicy, just a tad on the saltier side. But i’m a fan of stronger flavours anyway, so its not too much of an issue for me. Definitely recommend this as a side order for sharing! This cafe is a merchant on Burpple Beyond (1-for-1 mains) as well, so save more when you dine here!

Mentaiko Pasta ($15) Saw a review by a fellow burppler that this was one of the worst mentaiko pasta he ever tried, and i totally agree. Presentation wise it certainly looked good, and the pasta was quite well cooked but taste wise it was so bland with probably only the slightest hint of mentaiko taste if i’m being totally honest. I had a much better time with their other dishes which I’ll be sharing more about in my other reviews.

Pad See Ew Moo The Pad See Ew Moo from Thai Gold Food at Bencoolen delivers a delightful experience with its wok-fired flat rice noodles perfectly coated in soy sauce. Each bite is savoury, featuring tender slices of pork and a generous portion of fresh vegetables, making it both satisfying and flavourful.

Pad See Ew Moo Pad See Ew or Thai stir fried soy sauce noodles is an extremely popular Thai street food dish. Whereas pad thai has a sweet and nutty flavour, pad see ew is meant to be salty and packed full of wok hei. Thai God's rendition of this dish is less salty than our versions. However, it makes up for this with a strong and bold wokhei flavour. Interestingly, they seem to use slightly larger pieces of flat rice noodles or kway teow which maximises the surface area for charring. The portion is on the small side but considering the price and location, I would consider as a great option for a quick and light lunch or dinner!

Green Curry Chicken Mention Sunshine Plaza and most people would think of Victor's Kitchen and their liushabaos. For those in the know though, Sunshine Plaza is actually a little food enclave with a eclectic collection of eateries. Thai Gold Food has been around for quite some time and attracts a dedicated clientale with good affordable Thai food in the city area. Their green curry chicken was decent. The green curry was creamy and aromatic and it came with loads of green. I did wish though that they used more substantial chunks of chicken rather than the scrappy bits.

Vongole Ppong Just as slurpy, the Italian-inspired “Ppong” packed a good tinge of heat. Spiked with white wine, the soup-ish dish was savoury, hearty and belly-warming. However, topped with briny plump clams, mussels, cabbage, fragrant garlic, and chili, the Vongole Ppong ($20.90/ Ala carte) lacked a little oomph as the broth was pretty mild-tasting on a whole. *Ade Set ($59.90/ 500 ml)

Seafood Ro PPong-Roje A night of true carb overload, we got the Ade Set ($59.90/ 500 ml) and ordered the top-seller Seafood Ro PPong-Roje ($22.90/ Ala carte) and Vongole Ppong ($20.90/ Ala carte). Super decadent, the Seafood Ro PPong-Roje was a crowd-pleasing mix of chewy noodles covered in a warm creamy “pink” sauce topped with shrimp, tobiko, mussels, and shredded mozzarella cheese. The slight tanginess from the tomato puree helped counter as well as balance the heavy cream base. Overall, a very rich (best to share as it gets cloying towards the end), fun and safe number with a fresh assortment of seafood.

Ni Pizza - Sweet Potato Haven't been to Nipong Naepong in a hot minute but I am glad the Ni Pizza - Sweet Potato ($20.90/ Ala carte) was still as satisfying as before. Who knew that sweet potato would go so well with melted cheese?! The piping hot tortilla base with the smooth housemade sweet potato puree and accompanying whipped cream weren’t all that cloying or greasy either. The sweet and savoury combo was surprisingly light as both the crispy crust and the layer of filling were pleasantly thin. The taste of the sweet potato and cheese was also relatively mild so the added sweetness and milkiness from the cool fluffy cream was very much welcomed.

2 scoops 10nett premium flavour +1 Pistachio was the premium flavour. This time there's this strong bitter aftertaste which was very unpleasant Meanwhile, the despicable stunned with the banana ice cream, it's so full bodied and well executed. Brownies and walnuts only added to the excellence Despicable is not to be missed.

Doughy waffle Ice cream was not bad, but I feel that the waffle is kind of doughy and not as good as previously. Also, no longer have characol waffle

Custard taiyaki 2.4nett I got it as soon as it came out. Exterior was still crispy and so still pretty good But custard was hardly enough to balance out the batter However despite the terrible Google reviews the queue still remains haha

sooo yummyy this is the custard obanyaki ($1.8)! filling is generous and rich, tastes like … custard lol nothing overly unique (which is a good thing, we don’t want custard tasting funny) tasted kinda like chateraise’s double fantasy custard puff. definitely a cop

Eat simi: Signature Pho Beef Combination (ALC) Each how much: $10.70 (Inclu. service charge + GST) Eat which store: Pho Street Eat where: Keat Hong CC Eat nice not: 1/5 🍜 I’ve never felt more bad writing a review but here we go…😢 🍜 The soup was pretty average, with a touch of earthiness from the spice to provide its flavours. 🙃 However, it was pretty one-dimensional and same goes for the noodles as well which failed to absorb any of the flavour, hence tasting rather flat. Beef was unsurprisingly sinew and tasteless, although the meatball did save the dish a bit. I quite liked the complimentary crispy fried pork roll though. Pretty fragrant and savoury! Especially the addition of mushrooms with added a nice fibrous texture. 👍 Alas, it was insanely oil-drippingly greasy — a result of the lack of frying etiquette. 😮‍💨 🍜 It was my second time visiting after a few years but still can’t seem to get myself to enjoy this pho. Hearty Meal I had $25 eatigo discount which was set to expire hence I didn't want to waste it so ask my friend out to eat just around the vicinity. We ordered the Spicy Pork Shabu ($7.90), Rice Vermicelli with Pork Chop ($8.90) , Vermicelli Wrap with Pork Belly ($6.90) , Snack Platter ($8.90) & Vietnamese Coffee Ice. The sauce for the Rice Vermicelli is flavourful and the pork chop is tender. It is a very filling meal for a big eater like me. One bowl of it finished me off just like that. The other side dishes were great to especially their fish cake. I didn't expect a neighbourhood place have such a delicious yet affordable food. After eatigo 10% & $25 eatigo discount, the bill came to a total of $9.95.

Vietnamese Prawn Noodles! Pho Street has been my to-go place whenever i crave for vietnamese noodles in sg. They had this seasonal item - prawn noodles some time back. Served in a bowl of spicy soup, with flat yellow noodles, soft braised pork ribs, prawns &topped with a sesame rice crisp. That soup has a burst of unami flavours - a spicy kick, sweetness from the ingredients &a savoury finish!! Soak that rice crisp till the very end and it will turn slightly soggy but ohsogoooood. Missing this dish a whole lot &really hope that they will feature this on this menu permanently! Go try it if you see them selling this again!

Lovely Beef Pretty good albeit tastes a little different from IssacToast. The mixture of cheese and homemade sauce give the toast a unique taste However, it’s definitely not enough to replace a meal!

We had the K-Ham Toast ($3.90) which consists of ham, bread, egg, cheese, pickle and cabbage, and if you like something simpler like me, you can also try the K-Toast ($2.90) which consists of ham, bread, egg and cheese. Both toasts are decent-tasting and are filling. Best to consume when it's hot off the grills. All the toasts here are prepared upon ordering and reasonably priced; Nothing cost more than $5. Overall a decent toast shop, you can consider for as a quick meal if you happen to be in the Clementi area. Located at the first level of Grantral Mall just beside the Clementi Mall.

The crisp buttered toasted slices of white bread sandwich generous fillings, which include a fuffy egg omelette, crunchy shredded cabbage, juicy pickles, a tender beef bulgogi patty, gooey cheddar cheese, and a rich secret sauce. .
