If you're lucky enough to find a seat in this cafe tucked away from the crowds of Upper Thompson Road, go ahead and take advantage of the free WiFi, while enjoying their Belgian liege waffles and a good cup of coffee. They also offer affordable breakfast platters and sandwiches, made to satisfy. They stay open till 11pm - a great after-work haunt!
Located in Lasalle College of the Arts, this spacious cafe is home to many long and wide tables, and serves very decent food at extremely affordable prices. This makes for a gloriously conducive place to get work done, or to hold group gatherings. If that isn't enough of an incentive, they now serve all-day brunch; including waffles, smoked salmon, eggs benedict!
Tried out the pear crumble danish. A little hard for danish but tastes ok. Iced black feels a tad too acidic for my liking.
I wanted a snag actually.
Marmite fans, you'll be mighty glad to know these poached eggs on sourdough toast come with maasdam cheese, and more importantly, your favourite savoury spread. I am still wide-eyed with disbelief over the $6.50 price tag for this tasty and rather filling dish.
Good coffee at Peloton using beans from Oriole Coffee!
