Waffles with Ice Cream I got myself a scoop of hazelnut ice cream to go with the waffles. Ice cream was good but the waffles wasn’t as crisp as I’d expected it to be. Fluffy but pretty soft/nua waffles.

Service at @ashandelmsg was good and prompt, making the entire experience a wonderful one. Burrata Pizza 🧀Burrata Pizza ($30) This pizza is made with marinated cherry tomatoes, tomato passata and basil pesto. The burrata on top is creamy and smooth while the other elements are herby and well balanced. Super good!

Prosciutto Pizza 🥓Prosciutto Pizza ($29) This comes with mozzarella, tomato passata, arugula and shaved parmesan. The prosciutto makes the whole pizza saltier than the previous one, its meaty and pretty generous in portions. The arugula was a refreshing pairing too.

Juicy Fried Oysters These were so crisp and tasty it was a treat! After my first bite, I knew bf had to order his own plate. All 6 for me!

Scallop and Prawn Pasta This dish is filled with fresh seafood goodness and seems like a crowd favourite among the reviews posted online. This dish is a little salty for me but nevertheless it is still a great plate of Al Dente pasta. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Standard Drop Tried Marmalade Pantry’s sticky date pudding after 2 years and standard has dropped. It’s still decent but could be better. A shame.

For 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$12) Housed below Hotel Boss in Lavender, this restaurant specializes in authentic Nanjing food. Not for the faint-hearted, you'll find spicy and exotic dishes such as Stir Fried Spicy Chicken 干煸辣子鸡 ($18.80), Stewed Pig Feet with Laba Bean 腊八豆焖猪手 ($14.80), Spicy Fried Belt Fish 麻辣带鱼 ($16.80) and Pork Tripe in Barrel 木桶牛肚 ($16.80). To qualm the fiery spice, their Pork Ribs Lotus Soup 排骨莲藕汤 ($18.80) and classic Yang Zhou Fried Rice 扬州炒饭 ($8.80) would be a classic choice for dinner.

Homemade Burrata Pizza - $24++ Very homely and fresh pizza with Tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil, garlic and burrata! They are running great discounts currently on eatigo. Makes it even more worth it.

Consistently great If you’re looking for somewhere different that delivers consistently well executed food then Erwin’s is a great place, especially at weekends when it’s a little quieter and you can take a stroll around the bay afterwards. The fish was chunky and really moist but with a crisp and lightly seasoned batter, accompanied by an upgrade to sweet potato fries. It’s a pub with a proper chef, what’s not to like!

1 For 1 Pasta using Burpple Beyond Ordered a vongole pasta and pork cheek ragu pasta. The vongole was very dry and bland. One of the worst pastas I’ve ever had. Pork cheek ragu was okay but the pasta texture was weird.. Will not recommend and will not come back again.

Beer Battered White Bait Yummy side dish, very addictive with the wasabi snow. Crunchy yet soft to the bite. Goes well with the Mayo that comes with it too.

Sakura Ebi Capellini It’s like having atas prawn noodles. This one has a strong prawn taste which is complemented with toppings of Sakura ebi, shredded nori and Bonito flakes.

Wah Guys This Was A Damn Good Bird I came here for this bird and I was pleased with the bird.

Very good gins! Had a chance to go for the distillery tour and it was such an interesting experience learning about the roots of this distillery and how gin is made. The tour comes with a welcome drink, that is mainly using calamansi juice and their very own dry gin. Absolutely loved the flavours coming from this cup, as it is tangy, refreshing and beautiful herbal taste of the gin makes this very pleasant. The tour also comes with a tasting flight, with 3 of their gins. With the Singapore dry gin being herbally, butterfly pea being florally and the pahit pink being spicy and smoky, we loved butterfly pea the best. Paired with just tonic, it's extremely smooth and pleasant, with the floral flavours coming through strong. With such beautiful vibes and service, I can really see myself coming back to have good gins and fun times with friends and loved ones. Will be back again!

Earl Grey Gin This Earl grey gin was fantastic! Using their signature Singapore Dry Gin, infused with Earl grey tea - fragrant, incredibly refreshing and so easy to drink. A pity they don’t sell it bottled, would’ve love to bring one home if they did.

Pasta, Iberico pork, cauliflower The portion was on the smaller side but food tasted not bad! Not a lot of mains options.

Iberico Secreto ($26+ U.P.), Barramundi ($26+ U.P.), Roasted Cauliflower ($15+), Pita & Hummus ($12+, Not Pictured) Moosehead has been on my wish list to check out with girlfriends for a long time, a Saturday evening in 2022 was finally the right time. While our mains of barramundi and iberico secreto came in “dainty” portions fit for ladies, they were well handled and packed coordinating flavours with their condiments. Our sides of cauliflower and pita with hummus then kept us satiated. This is a place I’d return to for a causal alfresco sort of dining ambience with good food.

Good flavours Barramundi was ok with the sweet tomatoes but the fish was not the most fresh. only worth with burpple 1f1!

Grilled Squid Pixy is the place you can enjoy food, drink and conversation. They offer you contemporary cuisine, created by Japanese Chef Tomine Nobuaki, with passion, cares about how people enjoy the food. Their tables are also spaciously spaced out ensuring privacy between tables of customers. We went there for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn’t too crowded. We ordered a couple of dishes for sharing. I enjoyed 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered. For the other dish not that it’s not nice, but I find it not particularly outstanding and that’s the Lala and Shirasu Spaghetti. It was pretty heavy in flavor and towards the umami salty side because of the dried mullet roe. I love the Grilled Squid stuffed with squid ink risotto. The squid was so tender and flavorful, and goes really well with the Romesco sauce which was a little tangy and piquant. There’s also a nice little crunch from the diced capsicums. The Lamb Chops was done perfectly too. It’s juicy and tender. Lightly seasoned and not at all gamy. We also gotten ourselves the Wara Smoked Tuna. The tuna is smoked to lightly cooked, has a nice texture to it, and it’s accompanied with blue cheese dijonnaise sauce and garlic chive infused oil which wasn’t too overpowering but kind of complement each other well, and brings out the natural sweetness of the tuna. Service is good, food is good and ambiance is equally good too. Price may be on the steeper end, but definitely worth a try!

Lamb Chop At a whopping $58++, we were thinking to ourselves that this had better be good. Thankfully the lamb chop was great! First and foremost, the restaurant seasoned the lamb really well and got rid of the gamey taste from the meat. This was the exact reason we were apprehensive about ordering lamb but thankfully, there was nothing to worry about as the grassy/gamey taste was almost non-existent! The lamb was also really tender and cooked to perfection, so it was really easy to eat! Furthermore, the meat was served alongside French jus, which refers to the juices that oozed out from the meat as it was cooked! Hence, the sauce itself was also very flavourful and we were more than happy to dip our meat in the sauce before eating! The lamb was paired with ratatouille, which is basically an assortment of stewed vegetables such as aubergine, tomatoes and brussel sprouts! The vegetables are generally light and are on the sweeter side, and they provide a nice contrast with the heavier flavours of the lamb meat. Thankfully, we had a 25% discount from Entertainer so it reduced the hole in our pocket a little. We will definitely be back again to try their other meats (e.g., duck breast, seabass). 😋😋

Fried Chicken This was another appetiser and it contains 4 pieces of deep-fried boneless chicken pieces, accompanied by a sour dip. The fried chicken was nothing special to be honest, and the only distinguishing factor about the dish was the sour dip, which seems to include a little lemon/lime to give a zesty flavour to it. Added a pretty nice contrast to the fried chicken, although we are not sure whether this justifies the $12++ price tag for this side dish.
