The watermelon served for the 'fruits' were just 2 extremely tiny slices...but the chirashi slices though were so thick. Like THIC-C-C-C. This place has really set the bar as to how thick chirashi slices should be. Really value for money

Basically worse than what KFC serves (and let's not even talk about popeyes...) and the price you pay for their ala carte double cheeseburger is the same as what you would pay for a double cheeseburger SET MEAL at Macs with no major difference taste wise, apart from the buns used. 10 to be exact: salmon, tuna, swordfish, tamago, unagi, octopus, fishcake, crabstick, ikura and a solitary prawn. The sashimi chunks tasted fresh and were relatively huge and thick too. And the marination of the rice has greatly improved from the last time i tried them 16 months ago so kudos to them. If you're just looking for the usual few varieties of salmon and tuna though just get the Barachirashi don for $13 which is quite value for money at its price

Execution wise it could have been better especially the cake itself which could afford to be fluffier and a little less dense. The thai milk tea lava that oozed out wasn't very sweet at all, which could be a good or bad thing depending on whether you're a sweet tooth or not. The pearls? Just about right. You definitely can't go wrong with their Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk ($5.30). According to the staff, you're supposed to taste the pearls first before mixing everything together. And when you do just that, you'll first feel the really warm and chewy pearls which were packed with brown sugar goodness! Which will make you straightaway wanna mix everything together for the sensation of cold milk to cool your mouth down after eating the pearls. From there, you'll just taste nothing but the goodness of fresh milk, with the brown sugar taste receding into the background .

Although the avocado cream did not really affect the overall taste of the burger, I do like the burger on a whole. The beef patty didn't feel dry or overly firm; none of that overly beefy taste too which is exactly what I felt after a while of eating the plant-based Impossible burgers
