Tucked in a quiet corner of Far East Plaza, the sushi bar serves sashimi and sushi at slightly premium prices. Pictured here are 3 sushi rolls served on a common plate that would be about approx $62 after service charge and GST. The sushi rolls were however, quite delicious and fresh.

Chanced upon this place and decided to give it a try (very strong google reviews) and there were no regrets! The service rendered was fast and good, food was served within decent rush timing and they tasted really good! Pictured here is the chicken chop with mushroom sauce, Mac and cheese and broccoli and mala peanuts for approx $15 after charges. I give this place a 10/10!

Pictured here is the Hangover Beef Burger at $32. The burger was huge and the patty was generously thick! It came with onion rings, truffle fries and salad. Definitely filling for 1 adult eater and possibly feed 2 small eaters. The restaurant feels like upscale casual that overlooks the hotel’s swimming pool but could engage more service staff as it was difficult to get their attention due to blind spot.

Priced at $41 after service charge and GST, the set above came with rice don, soup and drink. The Chawanmushi and Sashimi were added as ala carte orders. The pork slices were cooked to perfection, fresh sashimi and the Chawanmushi was not too salty! Very nice place for gatherings if budget can be stretched

Pictured here are Carbonara, Truffle Fries and Bacon & Potato Omelette. The portion fed 3 adults as the carbonara sauce was on the thicker side. The bill came up to $56.80 but there was no service charge/ GST. There was no charge on plain water and I do recommend making reservation for this place!

Nestled in Whampoa Drive Hawker, it may not be the most accessible location but the price point just made up for it. This army stew was at $19.80 with preorder and prepayment required. But there were so many ingredients (spam, cheese sausage, rice cake, fish cake, baked beans, enoki, tofu, cabbage, kimchi, potato noodles and instant noodles) included. They even prepared a jug of broth and separate serving of the sauce for you to adjust to your own liking.

This serving fed 2 adults well and easily half the price of what you pay for in major restaurants.

Priced at approximately $15 (after service charge and GST), you get to choose 1 main and 1 drink from 4 main and 3 drink selections. Pictured here is the mushroom truffle pasta which is flavourful and decent in portion. The drink was Jing Xuan and customisable for the sugar/ milk.

This is like a more economical soondubu/ sundubu option out there in town! Easily half the price as compared to the famous brands out there. You can choose the base and the spice level and there is no rice wastage as the rice is served in a normal bowl instead of the stone bowl.

Pictured here is the kind pho which included mushrooms and other plant based substitutes and it is nett price $11.80 without any service or GST. The broth was flavourful and generous enough for an adult. The location was quite hidden at the basement but it is quite a good location for a change in the area!

A notch higher than your using minjiangkueh, they serve pancakes with modern flavours and the one that struck me was the biscoff. Priced at $2.50 (before Kopitiam payment discount), it may be expensive to some but trust me, it’s totally worth it. The portion was definitely more substantial than the usual traditional ones that are possibly little smaller than half but charged at half price with very pathetic amount of fillings. Munchi’s pancake is thick and with generous fillings that really enhanced the taste and experience!

Nestled within Innovation 4.0 in NUS, this space operates on self ordering and pick up with very limited dine-in seats. The signature poké bowl pictured set me back by 10.90 as I ordered an additional serving of mushrooms. The ingredients include avocados, sous vide egg, salmon, cucumber, mushrooms and rice. The ingredients were very fresh but the kitchen will have to move quickly to accommodate the usual lunch crowd

Was recommended this stall when I visited Fernvale CC and specifically the soup version! For $4.50 (~$4.05 if you use Kopitiam app for payment), I got 5 meatballs, chunks of minced meat and lard bits. The broth and the minced meat were the highlight of the dish as it’s not the usual minced meat that are loose bits. I heard they came from Bedok 85 too!
