Some Beef bacon, some sausage, and some cheesy macaroni. I wouldn’t mind more cheese, cheddar was used here. But it was a pretty good size and not too heavy to finish! My friend and I shared the large ($10). Might be small for some people but it’s quite energy loaded.

Overall 4 😋 but I was still wanting more... like more cheese.. runny egg... the real bacon. Better spread of sausage.

Still a good place to go takeout and satisfy comfort food cravings! Only a few bar seats so during peak hours will be hard to find a place. You can also choose to make your own and add some seafood in there. Check them out along prinsep area!

Reward to chase away Monday blues! Managed to get the flamed beef cubes from Huoyanshaiziniu after singing class today! Only short wait of 2 people at 8:30pm while there were like 10 people at 6:40pm.

Honestly, the dish is quite simple, just angus ribeye flamed and you have a choice of garlic or seaweed flavoring. The garlic complemented the ribeye well as mentioned by several other bloggers.

Love that the beef was perfectly cooked and good amount of fats. Very flavorful as well!! A little one dimensional at the end but a great snack to share with friends!

Intense sesame flavor with strong milky aftertaste. Smooth, thick and hearty dessert. Love the butter cookie that gave it some crunch. Great for sharing with at least one other (had trouble finishing at the end). I would probably get add ons for crunch and texture next time. Our group tried all 4 soft serve flavors and my favorite was Matcha! What I do on Friday nights - YAY I made it to Chiizu toast @ Vivo. Luckily I arrived in time because so many (10 or more) started queuing after me (lol I bring in the crowd!!). The wait wasn’t too long, surprisingly more than 5 people in front of me disappeared so I got mine within 5-10 mins. LOL.

The cheese stretches for milessssssss (haha my HB had to endure my endless selfies). How does it taste? A little on the sweet side for me... love the crisp toast and long stretchy cheese. But would really love to lose the sugar. Will try the charcoal cheese next time (it was sold out at 7pm already!!!) verdict 3.5😋

Warm soba noodles on a rainy day. Tasty street always gives me a pick me up even on meh rainy days.

Delicious warm miso soup, QQ soba noodles, umami corn and kangkong, and fatty tender lor bak. The lor bak does make the soup a little saltier but it’s so much better than chicken....

yes yes, it’s $2.80 more than the usual $4. But hey, pork pork is always worth it 🐽🐷💗

Highlight of trip to Den Haag: Stroopwafel!! It’s bigger than my face 🤣 The dude wanted to reheat a premade one but I was like NO please make me a new one, so yay! I got a fresh hot one.

nice thin crispy outside and chewy sweet caramel on the inside. Hot stroopwafel is sooooo much better. Totally worth me roaming the 200 stores in The Hague market. Repeatedly, back and forth. And tada it was at store 2.25 with the bakery.

Thanks to my generous HB I got to enjoy cooking for our anniversary/Xmas/NY gift. Orly is so friendly and knowledgeable and we had amazing food to start at the Carmel market (post later) and then bought a bunch of fresh ingredients to cook at her home!

I forgot a picture of my favorite green hummus and the malabi dessert but here are the 6 other dishes we made, all requested by us! My favorites were the challah bread (omg so cute the braids), hummus and the best falafel balls with the right crust and flavored insides 😋 we also enjoyed a lovely white wine with the meal.

I just wanted two baklava...... The vendor at Carmel market didn’t understand my no 🙅🏻‍♀️ and continued to pack a variety of pistachio-, cashew-, almond-, cheese-filled baklava and kanafeh. For 60 shekels (~20euros) 🤦🏻‍♀️ I knew I shouldn’t have gone to buy them on my own.....

the pistachio and cashew baklava has some crisp but still had too much honey/syrup. Tried the Swiss roll looking pistachio filled baklava and that one has much less syrup and a nice crisp! ✌🏼 still, I think it’s gonna take me twenty days to finish since I only can bear to eat half a piece each time...... Luckily it’s nicely packed.
