Not worth trying at all. Tuckshop Rice is really tasteless and not salty at all, just like plain rice with egg on top. The wait time is horrible, super slow service :( The website said 10mins from Lorong Chuan MRT perhaps to attract customer but it is actually 25-30mins away. Quite dishonest. I wouldn't recommend the food at all though...

Not worth trying at all. Sauce looks yellow but tastes just like normal seafood beehoon from zichar stall. Too watery sauce too :( Also extremely small portion even for a small eater like me. They use a huge bowl but the portion is like just 2 little bowls of those tiny thai boat noodles :( Tuckshop Rice is really tasteless and not salty at all, just like plain rice with egg on top. Extremely dry and tasteless, very difficult to swallow. Plain bun with a few thin parma ham and cheese slices. Disappointing.

This is the outlet at Chinatown point. Ordered a bowl of Beef Tenders Pho and a bowl of Beef Shank Pho. Very small portion of pho noodles with little meat. Soup tasted very bland, lacked flavour (neither tasty nor fragrant) and was not salty enough. Had to add fish sauce to make it saltier.

(SGD$11.80). Delicious truffle & mushroom cream pasta with generous serving of sliced portobello mushrooms. The cream sauce is fragrant with truffle flavour. I like it!

(SGD$11.80) Tasty pesto cream pasta with sausage slices, chicken pieces and a runny egg. Generous meaty ingredients. Sauce is rich and creamy with a mild herbal flavour. I am one who cannot eat much creamy foods as it tends to be a bit too filling for me but it is a great meal for someone who fancies that.

• tom yum soup thick base ($6)
• stir-fried kangkong vegetables in belachan flavour ($6)
• white rice ($1)
• thai iced red milk tea ($3)
The soup is extremely tasty - very spicy and sour with a tinge of sweetness. Ingredients include mushrooms and the choice of chicken / seafood / prawns. The portion is quite good so we should have shared a bowl instead of ordering one each.
The kangkong vegetables came topped with fried garlic. This dish is of a rather small portion and its flavour can be more salted. Instead, it was slightly sweet which I do not fancy that much.
The thai iced milk tea was average at best - not as fragrant as thai iced tea should be and it could definitely be sweeter.

Tom yum soup: 10/10
Kangkong vegetables: 6/10
Thai iced tea: 5/10

Pork & Chicken Hot Pot Set for 2 Pax (SGD$30.80)

• 2 soup bases which are refillable (we got mala & tonic chicken)
• 1 meat platter of different pork types and chicken types
• 2 baskets of vegetables (u can choose 2 out of 3 basket options)

The pros are the tasty food, nice variety (as we got the 2pax set), affordable price and sufficient portion. The only con is the slow service.

(SGD$7.90) Jia Xiang Mian is their signature "kolo mee" noodles set. It includes a bowl of noodles and a bowl of prawn & meat dumplings soup. The noodles have a springy texture. The accompanying sauce is savoury and topped with oily pork lard. The char siew meat (barbecued pork) is grilled to tasty flavour with a sweet hint. The bowl of soup is relatively bland but works as soothing sips in between mouthfuls of the noodles. The prawns are glass prawns and the meat dumplings are not bad.

This is a "+2 add-on" to the pasta meal I ordered. This small sized molten lava cake is served warm. The texture of the cake is great - very subtly crispy on the surface, and moist and cakey for the rest of it. The chocolate lava that flows out is of a perfect viscosity and tastes richly chocolatey too. They also serve a regular sized lava cake as a full dessert (better for sharing) at a higher price around SGD$10.

My rating: 9/10

(SGD$9.90 set which includes 1 pasta + 1 drink + 1 mini molten lava cake ) Flavourful garlic-infused aglio olio pasta with colourful bell peppers and juicy onions. These vegetables add a sweet contrast to the savoury spaghetti. Delicious option for a vegetarian pasta meal.
