Mushroom truffle pizza and Barn Burger. The pizza was disappointing because it looked like mushroom fried in the Chinese stir-fry way melted with cheese with a dry crust. Burger was better. Overall will be back for the ambience but will not order pizza again.
Tried both pizza and pasta. Surprisingly, I thought their pasta did better than pizza with the creamy texture and rich sauce. Pizza wasn’t that tasty and the dough turned hard after a while. Would return for the pasta and mushroom soup!
Walked a while to reached this place, as my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to sit and enjoy dinner our desserts. It’s a quiet ice cream cafe at Capitol that is worth walking to. Be sure to try their best sellers! Especially salted caramel that is rich in flavour.
Nothing fantastic about the food but the restaurant is cosy and spacious making it ideal for a chillax location. Recommended for the cosy space and Burpple deal.
Read up good reviews of Cicada and specially on these 2 dishes and decided to give it a try. Highly recommended the miso cod fish. Pasta is alright, but the fish is the real deal. It’s nicely battered and seared on the skin. Spring chicken is slowed cooked and a little red in the inside. It’s tender just difficult to cut it into pieces with the tendons and bones, but pairs well with the creamy sauce. The sauce is the win for the chicken dish.
Overall a pleasant experience at Cicada with friendly service and nice ambience.
Really tender wagyu beef that is absolutely worth it with Burpple! It’s a small eatery but serves exquisite don. Got it together with sashimi salmon don. Worth the value, will be back.
Fresh salmon that worth the price!
French vanilla and Canadian maple ice cream flavours.
Waffles worth the visit, it’s soft and fresh. Ice cream was alright, tasty, but melts too fast for enjoyment. Limited selection of ice cream but overall it’s a good first experience. Chill place to hangout too.
Heard good reviews about this western food and decided to try it out on a Saturday night. It was such a popular place that we queued and waited for the food for half an hour. Thank God, we were one of the last few customers to order. They closed and started chasing customers away by 8pm.
Worth the wait, although I thought it’s a little dry. Food is in a huge portion but definitely value for money, for $8 only.
Used Burpple to try this, value for money with 1 for 1. Highlight: Pandan Nasi Lemak Rice. It’s a pity that there wasn’t enough pandan rice for 2 plates so we had one plate of white rice.
