Refreshing flavour that satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling too sinful! They also serve it in cone and with additional toppings to choose from. Best thing is that they open till really late when all the other ice cream places in Plaza Sing are closed. 😜

Birthday cake is a must-have and a family tradition for mine! First time trying a whole cake from Cedele and I was pleasantly surprised by this Gula Melaka cake? It was really fragrant and although the coconut taste was slightly too strong after a few more bite, it was still pretty good! The exterior cream was quite heavy but enhances the taste of the cake! Would rate it 8/10! :)

Slightly too salty for me but it was an interesting to have dips like avocado and Kimchi. Joo bar is a Korean fusion bar that serves really interesting food! Great ambience too. Will definitely be back.

This Makgeolli Yuzu slushi is one of the best Makgeolli I've ever tasted! It's sweet with a slight hint of alcohol and a sour aftertaste. Really good to pair with after a heavy meal!! It was a pleasant surprise and a great way to end a Friday night! 22sgd for a small jug like this. Just nice for 3 people to share.

Finally got to try Matchaya after hearing so much about it! We got the cup that included more ingredients ($10.50) because we wanted to try their toppings. I really liked the overall matcha flavour because it had that bitter after taste and it's not too sweet. The toppings were good but I'm not crazy about mochi so I think I would go for a plain cup next time if I get it again. Would really recommend Matchaya if you don't like your ice cream too sweet! I preferred this to Nana's but my mother still prefers Nana because the texture is much softer and the flavour is not as rich.

Had a mini matcha ice cream "taste test" with my mother because she only eats matcha ice cream and she's in love with this matcha Soft serve from Nana. (She claims that it's the best ice cream she's ever had.) In my opinion, I really liked how soft the texture is and how it's not too sweet like regular ice cream flavours. Absolutely loved the cone too! 😁

Being indecisive about food is always a dilemma for me! Love how soup spoon offers the half and half soup set where I get to taste 2 different soups for the price of 1! I ordered the pumpkin soup and the chicken stew. The pumpkin soup is thick, sweet and smooth while the chicken stew is more savory and packed with ingredients. I think it's a good balance, giving a variety to the taste buds. I really liked the chicken stew and you should defintely try it if you haven't. Enjoyed my dining experience here and they are having a 1 for 1 soup set promotion now which makes it even more worth it! Will defintely be back again. :)

Who says Bedok doesn't have any nice cafes? @vanschua and I popped by @burpkitchenbar at Bedok Reservoir to try their Crabby Patty. It wasn't bad, a whole soft shell crab made up the "patty" sandwiched between two soft charcoal buns and slathered with a copious amount of salted egg sauce. But it wasn't GREAT. You know? Charcoal really served to simply add colour, the salted egg sauce was a little too diluted and more sweet than salty, the shell (or skin) of the crab couldn't be bitten through properly. But I must say, it was nicely breaded and fried. The bar grub was a little too pricey and this burger was an eye-watering $18 with a sauce plate sized amount of potato salad. Yes, that means no fries. Well then. Humph. I would say drop by for a coffee, and share some bar grub. But don't go expecting a hearty meal here.
