Hainanese 酥盐饼 is one of the rarest pastries in Singapore. Chuan Ji is one of the few bakeries in Singapore still selling this biscuit. The bakery has its roots originated from the famous Nam Tong Lee confectionery along Purvis Street. Sweet and peppery, salty and fruity all at go, its truly a plethora of flavours bursting at the same time. Some find this complex, but this is truly delicious for me.

Ivins at binjai has been known for its super long queue. When we visited, we finally understood why! The dishes are just so affordably priced and pretty good too. We ordered 5 dishes for only $30+. Pictured is their beef rendang, served in a claypot. Definitely the best dish that we have ordered for our visit.

Located beside ramen champion in Bugis+, una una is known as the cheapest Place to find the Hitsumabushi unagi donburi in Singapore. Pictured is the double Hitsumabushi unagi set, twice the portion of freshly grilled unagi. We enjoyed the different instructions to enjoy our unagi: together with the soup, soup/condiments and with the sweet sauce.

Oriental decorations with muji-scandinavian furnishings, Antea social is a tea-themed cafe that serves really delicious cakes paired with different tea blends. They take their brews real serious. Each tea set comes with a card description. We ordered a sinfully delicious valrhona chocolate cake, together with pots of strawberry green and roasted oolong.

Located within hong lim complex, whiskit is a homely bakery that sells local flavoured tarts such as ondeh ondeh, orh nee, milo kao tiew. Pictured is the hazelnut chocolate and the milo kao tiew tarts. While very affordably priced, the hazelnut chocolate tart is quite disappointing because the lotus cracker was already soggy- either because of the refrigeration or its not that fresh. The milo kao tiew tart was sufficiently malty with the milo nuggets on top of the chocolate custard.

Located within the Hotel Soloha, a gorgeous boutique hotel along Teck Lim street. In case you are wondering where that is, its real close to the 亞东building, but towards the left side. Takeshi Noodle Bar can be easily spotted with its magenta neon lights. Fusion ramen that adds truffle oil to high quality japanese ingredients: wagyu beef strips and thick wavy ramen. Interesting and delicious. Highly recommended.

Sourdoughs are freshly baked at the cafe and paired with a wide variety of ingredients. While the smoked salmon sourdough has a significantly smaller servings of sourdough, I really loved the portion of smoked fish that was given. Really suitable for someone who is on low carb diet.

While the brown sugar bobba milk is most well known for at Xing Fu Tang, health conscious people will be glad to know that they serve healthy teas too like the roasted oolong tea pictured. Quirky plastic cup that with the 女神 label. Haha, don't understand why?!?

Keisuke's new venture at Paya Lebar Square is located beside its sister outlet tonkotsu king. Pictured is the assorted seafood katsu set. The rare salmon katsu was just awesome! Crispy fried exteriors with a rare sashimi core, it is every salmon lover's dream! Served together with the seafood katsu, is the other star of the set-- a poached egg katsu that is runny and extremely delicious.

Morphine coffee is located outside the payar Lebar Quarter Mall, just beside the water fountain. Ordered the cold Matcha Latte ($5.50) which is bottled and served chill. An awesome beverage with thick matcha. If you love high matcha to milk ratio, this is a great drink to buy if you are in the vicinity.

This taiwanese cafe at plaza singapura sells really good jiggly pancakes that are fluffy delicious. You can select different pairings with the souffle pancakes. Pictured is the strawberry pairing: souffle pancakes that is served together with graham crackers, strawberry sorbet and fresh strawberries.

We have a full Korean spread at Two Cranes. The spicy chicken stew which is a crossover between spicy chicken ramyeon and budaejjigae. Innovative yuzu coffee that has a thick creamy yuzu foam that adds the grapefruit citrus profile to the fruity aromatic long black. Ordered fried chicken wings that were fried and crisp but quite average in taste. The jajangmyeon has sweetness and savoury blended in the bean paste and chewy texture noodles.
