Please be prepared for a constant crowd if you pop by in the afternoon. A place where they roast their own coffee, it is a pretty popular and crowded coffee joint given that it is located under a hdb at outram. Coffee tasted great with a choice of your coffee beans. Do take note that theres no food served here. :)

The homemade mushroom soup is really true to its reviews. Its really thick and creamy with loads of mushrooms. Doesnt make you feel gelard too! The garlic rice was very fragrant and delicious. Chicken is crispy and tender. Portion was also right. It also comes with an egg. Topped up for vegetable too. Another plus point is that you can enjoy coffee from Nylon just next door! :)

Second time here and they just started a new menu this month! Bah kut teh is still as delicious with three different levels of peppery spiciness! When they refill the soup, they also make it a point to check which level of spiciness we had ordered to refill the right soup. Their side dishes are also good! Tried the seafood tofu, kong ba pau, meat ball, vegetable, oyster omelette. You tiao is also a must order! Really crispy and fresh!

This is at Omakase Burger (Express) at Toa Payoh Lor 8. Pretty long wait (1hr from queueing to getting food) probably cause of the rave about it on the Internet. Thankfully it was worth the wait, beef patty was really juicy and the burger was also soft and fluffy. Garlic fries was also not too bad. Crispy with a slight hint of garlic. :)

Food was decent and the fries are good! However, didnt expect their chilli crab pasta and beef chilli fries to pack such a punch! For those who cant take spicy, do think twice. Beef burger was good - crispy bun with juicy, tender beef patty.

We had the pulled pork ragu and ribeye steak.

The ribeye was well cooked to medium rare, and the dish does not come with any sides. The truffle jus was not heavy and complimented the steak well.

Pulled pork ragu was filled with meat so definitely value for money!! The pasta was well cooked to al dente.

We shared the brownie dessert which was served with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. The brownie had a more cake like texture and was not the fudgey typed. Nonetheless, the ice cream complemented the brownie well.

Overall, this restaurant was really value for money. Even with drinks, our bill came out to about $50 for 2 pax.

The wagyu beef very well cooked, tender with a good amount of fats. The noodle cooked just right to remain firm and chewy. The tomato based soup is very well balanced between sweet and sour, to bring out the flavours of the beef and noodle.
The beef broth is so rich and flavourful, one might just finish the bowl of soup without the beef and noodles! To end it off, adding a little of the chilli into the soup is highly recommended as well.
