š whaaaat?!?! this is a pipagao flavoured ice cream with mint (chopped mint leaves). it has a more sticky/gelato-ey texture, reminiscent of the real syrup itself.
(+) it was quite refreshing and not overly sweet.
(-) i prefer sth lesss sticky
you really get what you expect. i guess itās special / worth a try just for the novelty and if you really! love! pipagao. texture preference is up to your tastebuds. might try other flavours instead next time esp the niangao waffle!!!!! as far as ppg flavoured items go, personally recommend: woobee pipagao milk tea w herbal jelly.
$4.70 for this. usual flavours are 4.20, +0.5 for this flavour.
ok the picture sucks sorry itās hard to take a good picture of acai, but novo acai is really the BEST!!! i like my acai bases more sour rather than sweet, and more smooth and icy rather than milky-creamy tasting. we got the sour power (ultimate go-to) in size L and it is also one of the most affordable aƧais out there imo, esp if you self pickup on foodpanda 𤩠this flavour comes without banana, and if you pick the gula melaka granola itās sliiiiightly salty (it used to be) so it mixes together so well. the fruits r unique too - mango, grape, strawberry!!! with large coconut flakes and pumpkin seeds. am so happy.
ordered it with grass jelly (+80c) & normal ice. the texture is a bit soy-milk like (more thick than light) so itās good if u want something more milky / heavy / if u enjoy the taste of creamer? earl grey smell can get washed away if u drink too much at once but still a decent cup!!! in total it was around $3.60 which is more budget than koi (i think), plus thereās many toppings u can pick from!
plus points: the packaging is good and very anti-spill-friendly esp for people who like to swing their bbt while carrying it around LOLOL
we got the smoke shack, shackburger, chicken bites and the strawberry shake. the chicken bites really substantial & juicy (not just batter) + very flavourful (and not overpowering) + perfect w the bbq sauce (bc itās abit tangy so it balances it well). the milkshake is seasonal and was abit heavy for us after everything but compared to the other shakes not as crazy sweet, still enjoyable!!!
smoke shack is super good shackburger is also super good <3
𤤠still dreaming about these. (1) tteokbokki with ramen was v v tasty and the sauce was your regular gojuchang sweet-spicy thick one!!! not too spicy either, but good balance + texture. hehe and (2) bulgogi soup - first time trying this!!! it was surprisingly really comforting and not too salty too. generous ingredients too. (3) chives pancake didnāt feel too oily and was a good size!!!! the thickness was perfect also š¤š„ highly recommend bc for korean this is really affordable! (~$10/dish) heard good reviews ābout the bibimbap too :) love the fish cake ban chan!!
[Waterway Outlet] sorry for the purple-looking pic, we were in front of the LED lights hahah. anyway, we went to the Waterway outlet! was rly quite disappointed bc we got the kimchi ramyeon, jjangmyeon, and kimchi pancake. tasted like foodcourt standard food for restaurant prices ā¹ļø
jjangmyeon sauce was watery and kinda underwhelming.. ingredients didnt gel together that well. kimchi ramyeon was on the sour side, and kimchi pancake was visibly oily as well. if i had to pickā¦. iād say kimchi pancake was still overall the best dish. they were still really busy though so kudos to the waiters for handling the rush.
we tried their 12-pack cold brew (iāve tried the matcha coffee, rose chocolate and orange chocolate so far) and the flavours are really thick & rich & chocolate tastes perfect, not artificial/overly sweet. good for you if you are a chocolate lover. although itās strong, somehow itās not that overpowering or overly milky-smelling also. the sea salt chocolate one tastes abit like slightly salty thick milo.
(note that the cold brew coffees are sweetened)
unlike the other dish, this was solid 8.5/10!!! we saw many others eating it too so we were like ok letās try
very generous with the bacon and the sauce wasnāt cloying (coming from a non-carbonara eater). flavours were very well blended together, and noodles were al-dente :-) highly recommend to try.
5.5/10
Main point of the burger was supposed to be the wagyu beef but it ended up being the main let down. Mushrooms and foie gras and buns were all done really well but the patty itself was really dry and burnt tasting :( Wouldnāt recommend this burger unless you really love truffle or really love foie gras then itās tolerable at best.
pretty good i guess. as the title suggests. Thirst-quenching, refreshing, and affordable. $1.50 for the humble salaryman.
Came here a few times and the pasta is not bad. Tried the carbonara, the lemon crab pasta, and the pork belly aglio olio. The carbonara and pork belly aglo olio was pretty good but the lemon crab was not that good cos it was berry dry.
Tried the Porchetta pizza (the one with egg and rocket leaves) as well, not a fan :( tasted really stale, the ingredients werenāt melded tgt. This isnāt a signature dish; they recommended the other more meaty flavours though. So you might want to try those instead š We went at lunchtime so chefs might be different for dinner ya.
