Wish I was sipping lattes in a cafe instead of being here.
Vanilla latte and bf's hazelnut latte. Quite good, but their coffee had some sort of laxative effect on me.

This was vegetarian Lor Mee ($5.80++). Honestly, I loved this. The broth, though not sticky like the usual lor mee, was flavorful with a strong herbal taste (I like), and the vegetarian ngor hiang was also good. The ngor hiang tasted like a mix of mushroom and taukee. Only strange thing was the intestine look-a-like items. Does lor mee usually contain pigs' intestines? And they didn't use the usual flat noodles either. Overall, still cheap for the generous portion size, and delicious.

Don't be mistaken by the name, although it's a beetroot burger, the patty was actually a mushroom patty. The beetroot were the chopped up red cubes scattered over the hummus. Overall a delicious mushroom-y burger, though the hummus was not the best, it went well with the patty. Beetroot was too mild to contribute to the overall flavour profile of the burger. Would be better if the beetroot was in slices! The bun was very soft and delicious though! Will definitely come back here.

This was Eggs on Toast ($15++), consisting of 2 eggs (choice of scrambled, over easy or sunny side up), sauteed baby spinach, portobello mushrooms (actually mushroom, cause there was only one) with multigrain toast. I was a little bummed that they do not do poached eggs 😞 (why oh why), and there were only 2 half caps of portobello mushrooms. Overall quite an average brunch item, but then again how different can cafe brunches get 😂? Oh and the bf commented that their butter was weak and tasteless lol!

This red bean pau of theirs is apparently quite well known. I was kind of expecting exploding amounts of filling due to its size, but it didn't deliver in that aspect. The filling was on the sweeter side, and it was very smooth. The bun itself was great though; very soft and not dry at all. If you feel like spending $2 on a pau, go ahead, otherwise no loss either if you don't. I still prefer kopitiam kind of paus.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this. The bagel was not toasty enough and the smoked salmon was not as good as other places. The addition of watercress was also not to my tastebuds. So far Crown Bakery still has the best salmon bagel here!

This was the 'Bak Kut Teh' (came with rice). The soup was herbal based and non-peppery, which I loved, and look at the generous serving of tofu and other veggies 😋😍. We also ordered the broccoli and mushroom dish, but that tasted a little bland. I will come back here to try other dishes because I'm getting more into vegetarian food and vegetarian food is rather hard to find in my area.

Bf booked this romantic cable car dinner for us and it was truly amazing. We even caught a glimpse of fireworks from Sentosa. The view was slightly foggy last night but we still got a good view of the whole area as the cable car went back and forth 3 times for our 3 courses. The food was by Spuds and Aprons, which we patronised before and found the food good. Thank you my ❤.

This was really the best oysters my tongue had ever tasted. We ordered the natural (still the best hands down), yuzu and steamed dashi oysters. Buttery and melt-in-my-mouth, these large oysters were really a treat to my gustatory nerves. Where can I find Tasmanian oysters in Singapore??

Looks healthy but we had a side of truffle fries 😋. Nice thick slabs of tuna with baby tomatoes, asparagus, edamame and an onsen egg. Originally comes with pickled cucumbers too but I had them removed.

Hearty lunch 2 days ago which gave me loads of energy to run! Love their soft brioche toast, reminds me of the one at Wild Honey. Only thing I dislike was the alfafa sprouts (I have an immense dislike for alfafa).
