This salmon is amazing, it is now my favourite salmon in Singapore. It's really that good. The skin on its side are uber crispy - as crispy as keropok - while the flesh are still very moist, very tender.

I've no idea how Chef Pavski did it, but he said it's because he uses only fresh salmon.

Taken during a tasting.
Tried the Chirashi don at Purvis street, and was pleasantly surprised at how thick the sashimi slices were. The rice was fragrant as well. The fruits served included in the set were fresh and the miso soup was delectable.
In terms of design, the shop has a cosy ambience and service was fine. Did not have to wait too long for the food.
Will definitely be returning!

Quite atas and expensive rice bowl for me to experience for first time. Recommended by my bestie when she search via online and saw good review of rice bowl. Rice is quite good and really make me full for dinner. Char Siew is not bad too to mix with Salted Duck Egg Mayonnaise Sauce.
Usually opened late, but om weekends they do serve brunch.
French toast ($14)-eggy exterior with custardy interior. Bacon was really crisp and has that sourness from the apple. Really good 4.25/5

As always, a safe option. Sousvide, the fish was soft while the skin was very crisp with a brown butter miso on it (which we mistook for charred bits but turned out to be very tasty!). Served with giant couscous, portion looked small but it was quite filling.
π¦π Easily peeled off from its shell (swipe to end to view) which spoke freshness, the prawns are also plump and juicy, coupled with a top layer of creamy torched mentaiko sauce that provided a pleasant savoury umami flavour. Along with pickled radish (starter to kickstart the appetite with its tanginess), a warm comforting bowl of miso soup filled with seaweed and diced tofu cubes, a huge bowl of sticky Japanese white rice, the overall meal is ended off with slices of fresh, juicy and sweet watermelon as the dessert. Can't stop raving about the mentaiko prawns here that made every cent worth the spent, given that there was also an exclusive 1-for-1 promotion via reservations made with @chopesg . A pity this great deal had ended on 30 Sept, but if you are one that goes for quality, this is an ideal place for u! For those who have a big appetite and great fetish for Japanese cuisine, you will be glad to know that @mitsuba.j.restaurant also offers lunch and dinner buffet that allows u to eat to your heart's content π! .
