My experience at ADC wasn’t the best. I would say this place is overhyped by tourists. It was no doubt that the scrambled eggs were good but.....pricey. Yes I know HK food are pricier but compared to other θŒΆι€εŽ… i felt ADC was slightly on the higher side. Aside from the eggs everything else was quite normal for me. Btw does anyone know why do some sets come with tomato but some do not? I won’t recommend this place but highly recommend their neighbour Mak Man Kee for juicy dumplings! ❀️

I loooooveee mandus (dumplings) and can never get enough of it! This platter is seriously the best for indecisive people like me wanting to try one of every mandu in the menu. My personal favourite was the crispy fried mandu, filled with pork, chives and vermicelli. Definitely a must try when in Korea! Overall Rating: 4.5/5✨

This was my first meal after landing in Hong Kong and it sure did leave an impression! The porridge was silky and flavourful, just a little white pepper to spice it up. It was the exact definition of comfort food for the cooling weather that day. The pork slices in the porridge were really tender and soft, nothing similar to the ones we had in Singapore. What’s your secret Hong Kong? πŸ˜‚

My favourite national dish would definitely be chilli crab. Not forgetting the fried mantou to pair with the sauce! What’s your favourite national dish? πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬

The hype is real! Xing Fu Tang brown sugar boba milk (S$5.30) was my favourite brown sugar milk tea of all brands. The soft and chewy pearls were the highlight of the drink. Initially I was afraid that it was too sweet as I normally choose 30% sugar level, but it turns out just right. Would definitely queue for it again! Overall Rating: 4/5✨

Ice cream and waffles are a match made in heaven ❀️ Holy cow’s ice cream is always smooth, rich and creamy. My favourite one has to be the thai milk tea ice cream, with just the right amount of sweetness. Seems like Yishun isn’t always bad after all. πŸ˜‚

Crispy crust and fluffy light custard filling, what can possibly go wrong? 😍

Tan yu 排鱼 surely doesn’t sting(y) on the amount of chilli and peppercorns on their grilled fish. Even tho I normally order β€œzhong la (δΈθΎ£)” for ma la (ιΊ»θΎ£), their grilled fish with green pepper was on a whole new level of ma (ιΊ») (in a delicious way). πŸ˜‚ Each portion was big enough for 2-3 persons to share. The limbo fish was really tender and fresh ($45.90). I highly recommend for you to add on their golden combination to your fish, consisting of golden mushrooms, potato, lotus root and crab stick ($12.90). Remember to let the the ingredients simmer longer to absorb the flavours of the broth, esp the potato where it will soften till it melts in your mouth! Overall Rating: 4/5✨

Have been patroning takagi ramen since they opened their first humble stall in amk coffee shop. Even tho they have now expanded, the quality of the food is still good and prices are kept affordable! I always order their Chashu-men ($8.50) with an additional tamago egg ($1). Each bowl of ramen even comes with a one time free top up upon request. The star of the show was the broth. It was light and creamy, just how I would like it to be. Overall Rating: 4/5✨

No.18 Zion Road Fried Kway Teow is located right at the entrance of Zion Food Centre. You will normally be greeted by a queue during lunch and dinner timing. For $4, you can get a generous portion of kway teow with ingredients such as eggs, bean sprouts and cockles. My recommendation is to have it hot as you might feel jelak (β€œsick of it”) when it is cold. If you love wok hei, you should give it a shot!✨

KFC was surely very generous on the amount of cereal sprinkled on each chicken. The only difference from a zi char cereal chicken was it lacks a little sweetness. I felt that if the cereal chicken was made into bite size pieces (eg. cereal popcorn chicken), it would be really addictive! πŸ”
