Among the fusion items, we decided to try the Har Cheong Gai Burger which came as a shock (in a good way). The towering burger had, not one, but two massive pieces of Har Cheong Gai that the toasted buns could hardly contain. We could only eat it layer by layer, but it was definitely a brilliant idea to sandwich some coleslaw in between for a tad of fresh crunchiness, while also to hide the raw taste of the coleslaw for people who donât enjoy it on its own like me. Thought the taste of the prawn paste could have been more evident though. Not to the extent of an exciting dish, but definitely value for money. Served with shoestring fries.

They sell both dry/ soup options for an affordable $3 bowl that comes with prawns, fishcake & meat, and we added fresh prawns for an extra $1. While the dry option is good for highlighting the springy chewy noodles, we also enjoy the soup option for the flavorful prawn broth that has the rich aromas of both prawn and pork ribs.
đSeng Huat Noodles Stall, #01-38, Telok Blangah Food Centre, 79 Telok Blangah Drive
ćçź Cheng Fa (Stall #01-38) shows you how Prawn Mee should be done. Skip the dry variation, skip the fishball noodles (the only other dish on the menu). Just go straight for the soupy version with bountiful ingredients.
This is the largest of the 2 sizes, at an affordable $3.50 (the small size is $3.00). If you flirt with the cheerful friendly auntie, maybe she'll give you an extra bowl of soup đ
You can't miss this stall, there's always a long queue. Worth the wait!
Itâs not always possible to have the best of both world, but we couldnât decide so we ordered Roasted Duck and Char Siew Rice, $5. Generous portion of meat, a mountain of rice with their savoury black sauce which is so fragrantly delicious! Meat were thickly sliced, tender, juicy and coated with caramelised sauce. An enjoyable plate of roast meat rice which we crave for more! #hungryunicornsg #telokblangahfoodcentre #telokblangah #roastmeat #roastduck #charsiew
Yuan Cheng Carrot Cake (01-33). $3 for a big packet of carrot cake for takeaway. This stall is popular with perpetual queue. Auntie who is frying is very polite and this is definitely a competent plate of carrot cake. Worth trying if in this hawker centre.
