A generally decent-sized portion though I hoped they went easier on the rice. Worth with burpple beyond - other than that it’s a pretty ordinary Don to me

Not sure what took me so long to finally try this. Had a blast trying the different bagel variations! + the playlist was just on point. This would be my go-to joint anytime anyday

Amazing deal w burpple beyond! Not really a huge fan of paying steep prices for atasfied hawker food but this was some great wanton noodle. Though the shiitake was a little salty, it was soft and easy to bite into. Same can be said for the char siew! Surprisingly only waited 5 mins to get in during lunch time.

There’s always so much satisfaction when you see the yolk running out of the egg and coats the rice like a non-invasive thin yellow blanket. The egg was kickass and runny just the way I liked it, wagyu beef was OKAY. I thought they were a little chunky and not as tender as I wished it was. It came with a side of vegetables which you could mix and match at the self-serve salad station - this was great and refreshing!

Overall a decent meal of generous portion - they were really generous with the rice!

Not a big fan of Bak kut teh to begin with, so this was just ordinary to me. Actually thought the dishes were pretty salt - they made my throat pretty dry. The pork wasn’t as tender as well.. in fact I found song fa BKT to be of a higher standard than this.

every element seriously worked for me (ignore that pathetic strand of vegetable of course). Incredibly tender and fatty char siew (YOLO) that you could tell was marinated thoughtfully. Didn’t expect the egg noodles to be THIS springy too!

Soft, light, fluffy and not too sweet! If you’re a fan of Japanese custard and desserts, this definitely lives up to that standard. Strongly recommended!

Garlic lovers unite! One of the more underrated restaurants in Singapore - love, love the garlic snowy pizza and Tom yum pasta. definitely worth it with the 1 for 1 deal!

Always love a good ice cream run! Second time trying this hipster ice cream place and I gotta say my fav flavours still remain to be earl grey, white chrysanthemum and hojicha as pictured!

We went on a food rampage and ordered the beef cheek, beef rendang, ayam fish and the chicken for four of us. On top of that, we also ordered Ngoh hiang and kueh pie tee (x2) for starters and also closed the meal with Bobo chacha pannacotta and pulut hitam.

Every dish is great but here are my favourites:
1. Kueh pie tee (hence we ordered it twice!) each came with a prawn topped on top of the shell and the concoction with the sweet sauce and chili was just irresistible.
2. Beef rendang - so damn tender! (Tbh the beef cheek was even more tender but beef cheek isn’t really that much of my thing)
3. Bobochacha pannacotta - you know by it’s name that it’s sugar ladened but it was truly worth!

The only regret I had was that I wished we ordered a larger variety of dishes instead of just sticking to the meats. The sauces were fairly similar so the dishes could get repetitive after awhile.

Always loved the coffee from Tiong Bahru bakery but I think the coffee here beats it hands down! Not to mention it has a great rustic ambience too!

Bought the small signature wanton mee bowl on burpple beyond. Noodles was springy, wantons were soft and char siew had a good texture! Definitely a bang for your buck w this 1 for 1 deal (paid $4.80 in total). A better-than-average wanton mee tucked away from the heat - it’s a yay from me I’d say!
