Their soup bases are made daily from scratch and served in a crystal pot that reduces the risk of you getting scalded. They also use smokeless grills so you won’t smell like BBQ! At $16.80+ during lunch on weekdays, this is a buffet for hangry souls on a budget.

Inspired by the hot and sour soup from Thailand, this crunchy treat is both spicy and savoury, great for sharing with family and friends!

Yeap, we couldn’t believe it either. We ordered Tendon ($5), which gets you a prawn tempura, a tilapia fillet, a slice of carrot, and shiitake mushroom. Another crowd-favorite is Oyako Don ($3.50) as well as Salmon Bento Set ($6)!

The pork cutlet was fried to a perfect crisp and the braised pork belly was soft and tender. We’re willing to give our $3.40 to this dish any day!

JQ Pot’s Cheesy Hotpot ($38) is served with a cheese fondue and 18 sticks of lok lok. The cheese is a combination of nacho cheese and mozzarella. While the food was nothing to shout about, this unique concept is worth checking out if you’re in the area.
