If you are the one who can't miss out on hipster cafes, Craftsmen would be the place of your choice to chill especially with its industrial theme. If the orange cups look similar, that's because they are affiliated to Dutch Colony Coffee from Pasarbella. Not really a fan of their rather light-bodied coffee but it definitely has the potential of being an uprising cafe.

And All Things Delicious is Tolido's Espresso Nook's newest neighbour, which offers a wide variety for halal-certified bakes such as Gula-Melaka Scones, Brownies and Galettes. The baker insists on using unprocessed ingredients such as unsalted butter organic ingredients so as to make their bakes taste more "natural" and it shows; clean yet flavourful treats indeed. They also share their shop space with Fictive Fingers that does pretty decent handprinted textile designs, if anyone is interested.

Peloton, retailing triathlon gear, has been opened about 2 months. But their Coffee & Juice Bar has just started operations this weekend. Stopped by for a coffee today and they make it look like they've been serving up smooth coffees for years. Cyclists are more than welcome to stop by and even refill your water bottles! #CoffeeAndCravings

Previously an old provision shop, Tian Kee is now a lovely cafe that amazingly retains nostalgia in the idyllic Dakota neighborhood. Complete with familiar toys, a kiddy ride outside that still works and no air con, this might just be the perfect spot to relax (until the crowd fills it up). Coffee is light, beans sourced by Dutch Colony, and the cakes are elegant. GO, before it's too late!

If you're serious about your coffee, you'll love Nylon. Be prepared for a tiny, tiny spot under an Everton Park HDB block that aims to satisfy caffeine addicts one cup at a time. With an overflowing passion for coffee, these guys source, roast and brew coffee from all around the world. Don't miss it if you're in the area! Photo by Greedykat Scruffs

L'etoile is a lifestyle store cum cafe with Japanese-French influences. Perfect for a quiet day spent with a great cup of coffee and a good book, this hidden gem in the Farrer Park area stands out from the crowd with their eclectic furniture choices. As evening sets in, sit back with a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Chicken bites with your own sauce selection. They topped it up with hashbrown bites and ricecakes πŸ’• this cup of mine is regular size priced at $4.50 they have medium and large sizes too available at other pricing. Other than this they have other bites selections. The taste was Great and I'd recommend you guys to try it too πŸ’•

Not the best but decent enough coffee and food. Remember to ask for double shot when ordering your coffee! Finally, a place to satisfy brunch or coffee craving without traveling too far away from home.

Stopped by for their famous beancurd tarts and couldn't resist getting these. Just evokes that sense of nostalgia. 6 pieces at $8.50, really lovely old school cakes, too bad you can't choose the flavors, they're all prepacked. My faves are the strawberry, pandan & orange.

Vi and K dealt with the oranges and dipped them in melted choco while Alex helped with scooping of dough into the cupcake tin ..As for me, I melted the choco using the double boiling method. Take a bite! It was sure a citrusy n orangey day for us!

The OMG 😍😍😍 so pretty presentation & so apt for the Christmas themed dinner. The chocolate mousse had hazelnut in it & was fantastic. The Vanilla Mille Feuille - addictive crisp buttery layers with ice cream like vanilla cream, I could eat an entire box, they were the clear favorites with everyone. The jelly, though pretty, was just normal.

Voted as one of best rainbow cakes in Singapore, i can understand why now. Cake was rather dense and moist and not overly sweet at $6.90+. However, it gave a vauge feel of the yellow egg cake(鸑蛋糕) that i used to love as a child.
