Fremantle Octopus Enjoyable with the right amount of chew and snap, the Fremantle Octopus ($26) was pretty good too. Happy to nibble on them all night long, the smokey octopus offered tender, supple bouncy bites. The accompanying macadamia tahini was bursting with sweet nuttiness and paired even more nicely with a good squeeze of fresh lime.

Babaganoush Another stand-out dish was the flavourful Babaganoush ($14). Adorned with crispy keropok chicken skin, this chilled mezze featuring creamy smoked eggplant dip, earthy kinnogomadare, and roasted sesame seeds is a savoury delight. Just perfect with warm, soft, pillowy Pita ($3/piece).

Roasted Brussel Sprouts Revisited Habibi-san recently and it's safe to say their dishes are as unforgettable as ever. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts ($20) remain an absolute favourite, offering a delightful medley of flavours and textures. Imagine crisp charred buds, dancing in nutty kinnogomadare (roasted Japanese sesame paste), with the added crunch of pickled red cabbage, jalapeños, and a generous topping of umami-packed bonito flakes. It's a symphony of smokiness and sweetness, with just a hint of heat.

Unagi w mentai tamago ($22), snow crab pasta ($15) Unagi was quite small in portion. Mentai tamago combi is 👌🏻. Snow crab pasta taste like chilli crab sauce w lots of meat

Ok food for price (1 for 1) Ordered unagi fried rice - portion is small, unagi not visible but taste of unagi is evident. Seafood pasta came abit wet tasted abit more home cooked than restaurant style. Thought the oyster comes together with the seafood pasta but they claimed they served wrongly (and told me only when I was making payment) - suspect they do this with all tables who didn’t hit the min spending. Then say out of goodwill will give a 15% off for the 1 raw oyster. Overall, nice ambience but poor business ethics, won’t recommend

🐮 Gyuniku Shiogayaki Don ($18) They're pretty generous with the beef slices, which were pretty thinly cut and soft - except that they were q fatty so depends on your preference for meat. The sauce here was also much less compared to the Unatama don so it might be drier at some parts.

chendol royale & matcha mascarpone paid $6.80 for 1-1 drinks so q a steal but nothing spectacular abt these drinks the chendol was a bit too sweet n the green jelly cldnt rlly come up the straw even tho it was the big bbt straw so u end up w no drink left n lots of green jelly n red bean sobs n the matcha was p mild n not the most authentic so

Strawberry Shortcake Interesting to know that they actually would change the menu. So now they have introduced a whole new range of drinks and waffles when I came back. The new waffles series now depict a ice cream stick alike. The Singapore’s first ice cream shaped honeycomb waffles that freshly made upon order. Coming with total of 5 flavours to choose from. Gotten Strawberry Shortcake which use Korean strawberries, together with fresh cream cheese and chocolate shavings biscuits. Go grab one stick and enjoy eating it like an ice cream (that won’t melt at all).

Laksa Cheese Fries ($14) Fries topped with laksa gravy, runny egg, oozy mozzarella, prawns and fried beancurd strips .

Golden Sand Chicken & Waffle ($20) Creamery butter sauce coated Southern fried chicken served with crisp buttermilk waffle and topped with golden sand .

SMOKED BARRAMUNDI SOURDOUGH SANDWICH Sourdough is well-toasted to slightly crispy outside while soft & fluffy inside; with a layer of roasted garlic chive cream cheese spread; came with a big piece of smoked barramundi fillet which is soft but mildly dry; filled with small amount of ponzu kangkong & pickled shallots; love how well the ingredients complement each other; with crispy cassava chips & fresh greens with yuzu vinaigrette at the side; simple & light dish worth a try..

CRAB DASHI CREAM LINGUINE Al-dente pasta tossed in dashi cream sauce; sauce is flavorful & rich, quite addictive; topped with chunks of fresh crab meat; with shio kombu, edamame & sesame; worth a try..

1-1 Coffee Cool place, decent coffee (abit small cup tho) but ok nonetheless can get when you’re at Somerset area

love the coffee! Their axel grind in house blend is really good and the coffee is not over-extracted with good flavour notes.

Matcha Latte Didn't managed to order Matcha Croissant on last Fri. Matcha Latte ($6.50) was quite good for me as it's not that thick and need to stir throughout the drink to avoid matcha powder sink into bottom of the drink.

Pomegranate Pistachio Turkish Delight with Rose Petals Looking just as good as they taste, Mediterranean Delights, located at Orchard Exchange, had a splendid display of Lokum (Traditional Turkish Confections). Surprisingly balanced in sweetness and texture, they are mainly made with a gel of starch and sugar that are often flavoured with rosewater, mastic, bergamot orange or lemon. Thus, after sampling the Pomegranate Pistachio Turkish Delight with Rose Petals ($7.70/ 100 gram), I couldn’t resist getting a couple of pieces home as snacks for tea time. Though the initial flavour of the rosewater was strong, the subsequent bites do get better with the crunchy nuts. It also had a really pleasant fruity and floral aftertaste. Embellished in a vibrant exterior of crushed pistachio, I also bought the Double Pistachio Turkish Delight with Pistachio Powder($7.70/ 100 gram) which was evidently more nutty. It too, had a subtle floral note as well as a nice soft-chewy bite to it.

Pomegranate Pistachio Turkish Delight with Rose Petals [$7/100g] I don’t usually go for Turkish delights, for my impression was that they are usually overly sweet with a sticky-to-the-teeth kind of texture - so this was a really pleasant surprise! I can’t say for sure if these are the most authentic or best tasting ones, but I loved the textures of the crunchy pistachio bits and rose petals, as well as that light, pleasant fragrance. All these without being too sweet nor too sticky, while having a nice chew to it! MD has a whole range of 30 over flavours of Turkish delights, and the owner was very friendly and open to letting us try more flavours to find one we liked. foie gras and truffle tagliatelle ugh this was actually so good i wanted to inhale it. all my favourite elements and perfectly creamy with truffle without being too sickening :-)

Burrata goodness Burrata Pizza ($28) Thin and crispy pizza fired fresh from the wood fired oven, we really enjoyed the taste of the burrata on top of the sweet tomato sauce. Pesto complemented the pizza nicely

Crabmeat Fettuccine Crab meat Fettuccine ($28) Decadent and creamy with a generous serving of crabmeat. Sweetness of the seafood was really brought out, pasta was al dente

Handmade Pastas Ordered the set lunch that came with mushroom soup, a salad, a main (we ordered their handcrafted gnocchi with tomato sauce and smoke ricotta) and a choice of vanilla/chocolate icecream. Portion sizes were decent and left feeling full and satisfied! Really worth given the large selection of handmade and high quality pastas. I especially loved their gnocchi which didn’t have too much of a doughy/floury texture as many other eateries do + the taste of potatoes was retained. They made the right choice of pairing it with the tomato sauce so that it wouldn’t be too heavy. Worth mentioning is their caprese appetizer - the cheese and tomato slices were really really fresh! Perfect combination when eaten with olive oil and vinegar. Service here was great as well. All the staff were really friendly and introduced the dishes to us with great detail. Thanks for the good experience!😊

1-1 Meal Ordered stracci which has a mellow taste but not to my liking and another one was lasagna which was better! Soup wise - mushroom soup would be the better choice.

Good Food And Ambience Came to this restaurant for dinner. Must commend the waiters for their excellent service. Food was good as well. The tomahawk steak was tender and juicy and the seafood spaghetti was firm and had lots of clams .

Chilli Lobster Like eating a shelless chilli crab. If lazy and craving for chilli crab. Have this!

OG is still the best ORIGINAL definitely fared the best for me, allowing the sprinkle of herbs & drizzle of lemon🍋 to bring out the best in the lobster.

Just get the Original CHEEZY I’d hate to betray my love for cheese, but I felt that it masked the lobster’s sweetness😔.
