Lovely pita bread with 3 different kinds of dip! They recommended the hummus, white cod roe and eggplant dip! It was so so delicious

Eggs shakshuka, 18++. Rich and fragrant taste without being overpowering. The flat bread was a little disappointing, but overall an enjoyable brunch at the Deli. Prompt and efficient service to boot.

Bolognese - Classic Wagyu Beef Ragu Pappardelle ($18++)
Ragùs are totally up my alley. I prefer chunks of meats over minced meats ANY DAY. This was great, I could not ask for a better Bolognese.

Plin Agnolotti - Piedmontese Veal Ravioli ($18++)

Damn, this was good. The flavours of the meat really came through with the flavourful sauce. Ravioli dough was also excellent. I savoured every bite & towards the end I lamented that I wished there were more.

Mentaiko & Ikura Cream Sauce Pasta ($16)

It is really not difficult to fathom why every table @ristoranteLuka during lunch service ordered a plate of this pasta. Mentaiko plus Ikura is sure to get fingers pointing to it on the menu! Overall, this really does taste as good as it looks with each spoonful bursting with the umami from both roe. It is a tad spicy from the mentaiko but nothing too big a deal. This is best shared as the thick cream sauce may get a little too heavy if one attempts to polish this up alone. That said, I was scooping up some of the leftover sauce just to get that nice bite of the cod fish roe!

someone once said that a pizza is made of quality ingredients on good bread. the pizza at @ristoranteluka is certainly an example of a stellar pizza. cooked in a wood-fired oven, the pizza itself is light with an airy, chewy crust. the classic pairing of mozzarella, mushrooms, egg, together with truffle cream AND truffle oil lent a fragrant aroma to the pizza and resulted in a dish that is greater than the sum of its parts. pizzas cost about $20-$25++ (and they have mean pastas too) so do check it out!

Love that some heat was incorporated in the tomato sauce to achieve that slightly pastey spicy tomato sauce. This really enhances the succulent and juicy sautéed squids along with that flavorful rich squid ink cream.
