I don't know how Cedele manages to get its cake texture so perfect in general. But this, this is proof of their expertise. Heavier than a chiffon cake, and lighter than a fudge cake, the chocolate matcha cake is a slice of heaven. It has a distinct green tea flavour, with just enough chocolate to edge away it's bitterness. Suitable for anyone who enjoys the beauty of a carefully baked cake.

A fried dough ball over mochi stuffed with liu Sha that oozes out at first bite. The liusha, made of salted egg yolk and custard was just sweet enough. Couple that with cookie butter soft serve and we have a winner that's worth the 5km run. Accompanying the already perfect dish were raspberry bits for a lil fun.

The drumlets or wings.. I can't remember.. Were too heavy on the vinegar and made for pretty difficult eating. My husband and I usually finish our chicken wings and drumlets, but we couldn't for this.

They were good but they were too thick and filling. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it between two of us.

This sizeable portion is totally worth it at $10. Definitely for sharing (although I managed to finish it on my own over time after packing it). The truffle is definitely an X factor. You won't know what hit your senses. And the taste stands its own.. It's nice even when soggy. That's a first for me!

Unlike most desserts, this won't leave you with an overwhelming sweetness and gasping for water. On the contrary, it's bittersweet, making you want for more. The creme brulee itself is as smooth as a pudding, while the sugar crust on top lends a pleasant crunch to to the dish. To tickle your taste buds further are chunky bits of the luscious fruit itself. A must have!
