I really really really enjoyed this so much! Got it in medium well (personal preference yea). It turned out slightly red and some slices looked bloodier than my brotherβs medium rare, but that aside, the flavour info and seasoning of the meat is sensational. Dip a bit into the salt and the sauce and itβs really such an enjoyable experience.
Had a bit of a foei gras overload during the meal hahaha. The appetisers are really good, highly recommend the cold noodles (forgot the name). This bowl of rice is pretty oily and not that light in flavour, so if youβre not into those oily kinda rice then this wonβt be for you. The meat is also slightly different from the regular 150g wagyu. Personally, I prefer to just get the wagyu instead of this. The meat quality matters a lot to me. Another point is this is really expensive, I only got this because of entertainerβs!
Side note: they donβt accept paywave, thatβs kinda a bummer
The pulled pork is pretty decent! Scrambled eggs complement the meat and toast, so thatβs good. However, I do feel that this is slightly overpriced... if I were to come back again, it will only be for the coffee and the salmon miso (
This dish transports me back to Taiwan. The perfect amount of meat and rice complementing each otherβs taste. Perfection! Iβve been here 4 times already for this LOL.
Opened by the same guys behind CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Spago too is top notch when it comes to their steaks. It is also a more affordable way to get a taste of CUT's standard of steaks, and in a less stuffy setting. Come by for lunch and get the Grilled USDA Prime Sirloin Steak ($62), which comes with handcut fries and a classic bearnaise sauce. Burpple Tastemaker Fiona Ting describes the meat to be pink and moist in the middle, and incredibly juicy thanks to the well distributed marbling. Add this to panoramic views of Marina Bay Sands' infinity pool and the city skyline, and you've got yourself a treat for both the palate and the eyes.
Avg Price: $70 per person (at lunch)

Ordered the latte, and it tasted good, with a robust taste of coffee beans which I liked. Really nothing much to say about this, just come and try it for yourself! Nice place to chill, with plenty of power plugs, and lots of seats in the 2-level humble coffee shop. Really wish SG have more of these smaller chains as in other countries...
Was so full after the meal! But this dessert ended the meal on a perfect note. I really enjoyed the mixture of hot and cold in the same dish (im not the only one who likes that I hope!) and this is just...perfection!! The sweetness of the glutinous rice is well-complemented by the drizzle of fruit syrup, as well as coconut π₯₯ syrup, making it a delight to eat without getting sick of it. The ice cream,,,well, itβs ice cream, need I say more? ;)
Don't be too quick to dismiss this meatless pasta as this turned out to be the best dish we had during our meal here.
Learnt that they add Japanese butter to enrich the sauce plus seaweed to give it a lip-smacking umami edge. Couple that with al dente ribbons of tagliatelle plus chunks of eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, squash and cherry tomatoes, and I'm a happy camper. So goood, I wanted to lick my plate clean!
compared to the one at populus, this one wins the beef ragu taste test! i really really enjoyed the taste of the meat, where the level of seasoning and marinating was just right. the meat, cheese, and pasta blend together to deliver (one of the) most amazing tomato based pasta iβve tried :)
i would order this over cream pasta any day, and thatβs showing a lotttttt!!! (bc im a cream girl!)
loving this!! i liked that i can finish an entire plate without feeling like the salted egg yolk was too overpowering, or getting sick of it ;) (kinda shows how great the taste is right!)
personally, i find the price point slightly high (at $17 a plate), if you are eating without any promotions.
however, still a dish i would no doubt splurge on from time to time. a true hidden gem π
I like how this dish is so worth it for the price point. ($12/14 if I didnβt remember wrongly?) thereβs 2 servings of eggs ben, along with veg, 2 longg slices of bacon, and the bun below. however, I felt that the hollandaise sauce could be much thicker and flavourful (me like pepper and Italian spices). Overall an enjoyable meal! (Might get a lil hot in here, just a note :) )!
Burger was good. The truffle taste wasnβt as prominent as I wished for it to be, but the mushrooms and the dressing really made up for the smΓΆll truffle taste :). Used entertainer app for 1-for-1 offer on Main Courses, which made the meal so much more worth it!
Good experience after all.
