An excellent chill spot to find serenity in the nature! I love that there’s an outdoor seating facing the river and it’s pretty quiet around here.

Came here for brunch and I must say they have a good selection of menu, though it’s mostly western food! I had mushroom aglio olio and I thought it was a tad bland 🧐 other than that, their French toasts dipped in maple syrup was pretty solid and my friend liked the waffles — crispy on the outside and airy on the inside.

I’d say the food here is pretty mediocre but I’d love a tranquil escape from the bustling city crowd to brunch here anytime!

🍽 French Onion Chicken I $25.80
🍽 Mushroom Aglio Olio I $14.80
🍽 Salmon Benedict with Waffles I $14.80

A decent place to satisfy your HK food cravings!! I was mainly there for their highly raved crispy bun that’s coated with condensed milk and butter, I love that it’s nicely toasted and not too sweet! I also had tossed noodles — the XO sauce was flavourful! They were also very generous with the shrimps though I must say I’m not really a fan of crystal shrimps and the portion of the noodles was too little. 😭

Overall, a very simplistic yet satisfying meal. Don’t forget to order a cup of hot milk tea for a well-rounded HK lunch / high-tea experience! 😋

Thai food for dinner with da fam! The food here is beyond average and authentic. The tomyum soup was flavourful — not too thin, and they don’t skimp on ingredients either. The curry was creamy and not too spicy, best served with plain rice with a sunny side up! Very satisfying if you’re looking for a comfort food!

This caramelized buttery goodness tasted heavenly. It’s very flaky on the inside and best to go with a cuppa tea or coffee. I find it a little too sweet but it was very irresistible indeed! 🤤

I was fully immersed into the rustic look of the cafe because it was decorated with many pots and plants, very instagrammable indeed! ✨ Unfortunately, this place is now permanently closed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They also gave us generous chunks of chicken tender cubes. As fragrant as ever, the gravy tasted rich and thick in flavour and it’s super satisfying if your eat with a bowl of rice. I highly recommend this place for those who want a hearty meal!

How often do you get to see farm-to-table kinda concept in Singapore? I can’t seem to remember what was the dish called on the first pic so I will skip to the next one — Tempura Jurong Frog Legs. These lovely legs were wrapped with a thin layer of tempura coating and half dipped into a bowl of Malay style curry. This was a starter and I honestly wished it was a main so that I could eat along with rice instead of pita bread.

The ambience is lovely for an evening out with family or friends. They specialize in European dishes and I would say the food is amazing. They served my Rigatoni Prawn Pasta in such huge portion, and it was definitely worth the money!

It seems to me that every beverage order is individually prepared and freshly brewed on the spot. I didn’t get to order any of the popular drinks from their menu unfortunately. I had Dong Ding Oolong Tea with grass jelly and I could say that the flavour of their tea tasted rather authentic. Apart from that, everything else was pretty ordinary. It might seem odd that I’m not reviewing the pearls because I’m opting for a healthier choice by replacing them with grass jelly and I recommend you to do so too (but oops sorry to be a bummer)!

This dish was served with a special sauce that brought out the Thai curry flavour and I thought that was pretty interesting. There’s also a rich creamy coconut taste, I reckon it’s better to devour while it’s hot!
