Overall good experience. Value for money, not bad but sausage and bacon were a little salty. $33 for 2 breakfast sets + 2 coffees.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Passionfruit Peach Tea w/ Honey Lemon 🍹Passionfruit Peach Tea w/ Honey Lemon ($4.90 a la carte) Suuuuper sweet, it kinda just tasted like really sweet honey lemon juice. I don’t find it that worth the price but nice presentation.

Succulent Crispy Skin Chicken 🍗Succulent Crispy Skin Chicken ($9.50) Chicken is bussin. The skin is really crisp while the meat is juicy. My friend said the coleslaw was great too.

Fries with Meat Sauce & Egg 🍟Fries with Meat Sauce & Egg ($6.90) The standout dish of the night, this is basically bolognese but instead of spaghetti, the carbs are fries. The egg was flowy and the sauce was savoury. Because of the nature of the dish, the fries do get soggy fast, which is the downside, but price wise pretty worth it.

Boba Waffle ($10) Waffle drizzled with gula melaka sauce, sea salt custard cream, caramelised walnut and lastly topped with vanilla ice cream and boba

Gula Melaka Boba Croissant ($4.60) Croissant filled with gula melaka cream and tapioca pearls . The croissant was flaky but a bit burnt though while the gula melaka cream added a nice sweetness . And as usual, the pearls were soft and mushy .

Gula Melaka Boba ($7.30) Gula melaka sponge filled with mascarpone cream and tapicoa pearls . The gula melaka sponge was quite cold in the middle and the pearls were mushy . And I couldn’t really taste the gula melaka flavour . A bit disappointed by this dessert though .

Earl Grey Waffles (Dec '15) Before Atlas Coffeehouse, there was Assembly nestled along the stretch of Evans Road. If you've been there before, I'm sure you'd know that one of the highlights of their menu was their Earl Grey Waffles with vanilla ice-cream and caramel drizzle. Quality stuff, as far as I can recall. Also, I must say that I'm quite impressed because this picture was untouched when I found it in my gallery.

Salted Caramel Earl Grey Waffle Great place for hanging out with friends and a good ol' cuppa. The beans are imported so it's quite authentic.

Salted Caramel + Chocolate Strawberry Waffles We had the salted caramel waffles and the chocolate strawberry waffles, both priced at $12 each. They were really good and the waffles were crispy but fluffy on the inside. I enjoyed both waffles but I definitely liked the salted caramel waffles a lot more! However, you have to walk a bit if you're getting here by public transport.

Spicy Miso Boss Rib Ramen Enjoy the Burpple’s one for one promotion before it end this month. I really like their pork rib which was so juicy. $16.40

Pork Belly Ramen- Spicy Broth. 1-1! The pork belly was so good!!! The noodles and the soup too!! Not the best, but for the 1-1 promotion, TOTALLY worth it!!! Tried the char siu one before, didn't like it. But the black garlic soup is good too 👍

Boss Ribs No visit to Buta Ramen would be complete without having these fall-off-the-bone ribs. Cooked sous vide and then flame-torched for that smokey finish, you can choose to have this with one of their hearty ramens or in a rice bowl! Preferred this much more than the grilled belly.

Blue Swimmer & Soft Shell Crab Risotto Delicious fried soft shell crab which had plenty of roe! Chunks of crab meat thrown in as well. The cheese was amazing but the rice was a letdown as it was a bit grainy. For the portion, it's pretty worth it at $25++.

Frutti Di Mare Fresh seafood with an array of prawns, squids, mussels and tempura white bait. The prawns were a bit overcooked though, being slightly tough. The squid ink pasta was rather bland, but was saved by the bird chillies and tempura which brought the dish to life. Get this if you are in the mood for something light. Priced at $25++.

Very Decent Nasi Lemak... From A Cafe! Beef rendang nasi lemak ($9.90 nett). Spicy and tender enough for me! For that price point, good cuppa to go with, clean, spacious outdoor space for my kiddos to blow bubbles, there’s nothing to complain about at all👍🏻!

Dinner sets at Burgers VS Wings last night: Pan-fried Fish Burger with Spicy Tomato Salsa set and Chicken and Chopped Slaw Burger set. Each set consists of a burger, two Naked Wings, fries and soft drink. Both our sets were S$17.90 each and there is no service charge! I like both their Sweet Potato Fries and Cheese Fries! The Naked Wings were a bit tasteless though. Burgers win Wings 🍔🍔🍔

Tyson Peanut Butter ($21.90+). Peanut butter in a burger?—An angus beef patty, bacon, sunny side up egg, cheese and tomato smothered with peanut butter between a brioche bun… The peanut butter part got question marks popping my in my mind. But from the first bite I knew this would be a burger I'd need to go back for.
