Say whut?? Yes you heard right. C&CC.
Tucked away on the second floor of Alexandra Central is CocoBoss which serves up unique flavours of Coconut smoothies. You pick a flavour, select your sugar level, decide if you want it well blended or chunkier and viola. We tried the Cookie flavoured one with zero sugar. The hubs thought it was strange at first but went on to finished the whole cup. I thought the cookie x coco taste was nice but enjoyed the signature roasted coconut blend more.

Awww its been awhile! I think the last time I tried a Baked Alaska was years ago. It was nice to see this on the menu at Spruce (surrounded by beautiful greens at Phoenix Park). My mom who usually refuses dessert enjoyed this with the fresh fruit and passionfruit sauce balancing out the sweetness.

The GOGI is Alexandra’s hidden Korean BBQ gem. Run by a Korean fam the grilled meats & soups are well-received and the place is usually full. For me i just want a bowl of cold noodles some days. This one is served slushy icy cold and is perfect on a hot day or when you just want something light tangy & refreshing.

The food at Mrs Pho House (Takashimaya)is delicious with almost a home cooked vibe. It’s helmed by a female Vietnamese chef who was trained in France. Menu is quite extensive with a few surprising dishes that caught my eye. Classic dishes like bun cha & pho can be found here too but their pho levels up with premium wagyu beef slices.

The charcoal fire hot pots (crab bisque soup in this one) was rich and aromatic. Enjoyed the pomelo salad as well. Best to go in a group if you want to try an assortment of dishes, cuz trust me you will.

The main course of the 8 course set lunch. This yakimono dish was delicious - the A4 Mizayaki Striploin was perfectly done and nicely complemented with the Shishito, Momotaro Tomato & Sweet Potato Chip.

Tried the 8 course set lunch ($88) featuring their seasonal offerings airflown from Japan. Pictured here is the Sushi set consisting of Isaki Ponzu Daikon Oroshi, Akami Tuna with Yuzukosho & Wagyu Beef with Wasabi Shoyu Zuke.

Coffee is always well made here. Its a lil cafe tucked in Novena Medical Centre on the 8th floor. French toast was decadent with caramelised bananas, fruits, nuts and bacon strips.

Wish we could sit outside. You gotta get ready for the occasional loud noise and scent that may stick to you when you leave.
