Many tze char nowadays buy the yam ring from mass production factories so they look stale and don't taste fresh. But forture still does this dish from scratch in the kitchen, result is great!
Not bad! Obscure coffeeshop (this was the only stall opened in the whole coffeeshop) location in middle of geylang. $4 for some char siew (the menu picture looked like nam cha, not honest as the actual char siew was different) and I think 3 or 4 solid (this is a good thing) shrimp wantons. The noodle was the winner for sure. Very springy! Also, it wasn't just one mouth...its a good portion :)
No doubt the star at forture, this is fish steamboat at its best. Thick, slightly milky and slightly herbal. <3
Not entirely why we expected (thought it was going to be fresh prawns) and the black pepper also thought it was going to be like black pepper crabs style but it turned out slightly above average, even though it didn't look the part
At one of the most popular tze char in Bukit timah, forture serves up big juicy and solid prawn paste breaded mid joint wings :)
This place is great for groups!

This Yong tau foo wins hands-down for variety of liao. Otah also have, pork belly also have. Wouldnt recommend coming here just for the laksa soup as its abit on the bland-sweet side. No minimum pieces of liao apparently, that's a plus! This bowl u see cost around $8-9.
The person who named this dish surely can do better? But the stock very shiok! Come here for this only tho, other food items on the menu are not great. Seafood pei meefen for 2 pax priced at $15
