Always have and always will come here to satisfy any cheesecake cravings ππ Jiggly Fluff (Triple Cheese) was nice and light but still pretty cheesy while Charred Eclipse (Burnt Cheesecake) had a very subtle burnt aftertaste. While these two cheesecakes are pretty decent, definitely try their original Over the Moon, which I still stand by that itβs their best creation ππ»ππ» This outlet has no seating so you have to takeaway elsewhere, and remember to let the cake defrost first if not youβll just be eating iced cheese. Also, thereβs 1-for-1 on ShopBack now, so worth a try if you havenβt before!
On first glance it might look pretty unassuming and frankly a little small in portion, but boy was this baby super filling. Brimming with ingredients like ham, sausages, tofu, mushroom, onions and leek, this army stew was so generous in ingredients and the taste was so on point! π€€π€€ Loved that the ramen noodles are done really QQ, and everything was just so on point - from the service, to the 4 simple side dishes, to the price point (50% with eatigo) - thereβs really not much more to ask for. Definitely a place Iβll return for some good old comforting korean food ππ
This has got to be one of the best kimchi pancakes Iβve had in Singapore! π€―π€― The pancake is the perfect balance between being thick and doughy, yet maintaining that perfect thin crisp with every bite! π€€π€€ Chocked full of ingredients, this pancake was really bursting with flavour and you really have to taste it to believe it! Korean food in Singapore is generally around the same standard, but this pancake is definitely a cut above the rest ππ Amazing efficient service with 4 yummy simple side dishes and water provided, plus thereβs eatigo 50% off which makes it ridiculously value for money! ππ»ππ»
My go to whenever I have an intense craving for korean food, cause Yoogane is available on eatigo with 50% off at either early/late lunch times which makes them so so worth it! The chicken galbi comes chocked full of chicken, potato, rice cakes, leeks and cabbage, marinated in that delectable spicy gochujang sauce! π€€π€€ The large size is good for 2 big eaters or 3 medium ones, and definitely add the ramyeon noodles ($3.80++) for that heavenly combi of dry spicy tangy ramen! Side dishes are free flow with kimchi, bean sprouts and kewpie cabbage salad. Super super yummy and filling and great service (they do the cooking for you ππ»), except they charge for water... But still great place to satisfy any korean dakgalbi cravings! ππ
Always had a soft spot for Bingsu even though theyβre pretty ridiculously expensive for fancy ice kachang, but although Nunsongyee is priced on the higher end of this already expensive spectrum, they do serve up consistently delicious satisfying bingsu! ππ Loved the generous heaps of sliced almond nuts and mini mochi that was the perfect dessert with the smooth finely shaved ice with condensed milk! After all, no meal is complete without dessert ππ Plenty of seats available upstairs with plenty of wall plugs so great place to chill out with friends, but water is not provided. PSA theyβre available on eatigo with 50% off (like 1100-1330 daily) that makes them super affordable and such a mad deal ππ»ππ»
Their burgers are definitely a must try here! The portion was substantial given the price point (esp with eatigo on top of the already competitive price)! Liked the crisp and beautifully grilled buns, which is already half the battle won! The patties were pretty decent but were a little too small for the buns and could have been seasoned a little more, but loved that they kept the inside pink and moist, and the delightful coating of cheese with the reliable pickles and ketchup-mustard combination was absolute yum ππ Definitely a pretty decent burger, with nicely grilled thick cut fries on the side! Main thing that stood out here was the amazing service and cafe ambience at this price point! The service staff was so cheery unlike any other Singaporean food establishment and treated every customer like he/she was their VIP, loved that they asked for feedback from every customer too ππ»ππ» Location may be a little ulu, but with nett prices like these and eatigo discounts, whoβs to complain?? π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ Definitely a hidden gem for good to honest cafe food ππ
A simple breakfast dish! Came a little smaller than I expected, pancakes were alright and pretty average like the kind you make at home on your own, but thought that it was interesting they decided to pair pancakes with scrambled eggs! Makes for a nice simple breakfast, and albeit a little dry but the honey and butter go well with this simple dish. Nice hidden place for fresh cuts of sashimi! Their lunch sets come with a nice compact bowl of Chirashi Don, Chawanmushi and miso soup. The Chirashi Don was pretty good and reasonable for its price, with fresh slices of salmon, tuna, swordfish, mekajiki, shrimp, prawn, scallop, tamagoyaki and even a small slab of unagi! π€€π€€ Chawanmushi was simple but well done, with ingredients like unagi, chicken and crab stick within. The miso soup was authentic, and even came with a prawn head! A little on the pricey side but pretty worth the price with great service (food came within 5-10 min so ππ» for efficiency!) ππ»ππ»
Absolute comfort food for the soul ππ A really nice big bowl of piping hot beef knuckle bones broth with fresh rice noodles that werenβt overdone, topped with beef brisket and shank (though not as tender as I had hoped)! But definitely a satisfying meal for both the belly and the wallet (with burpple Beyond!). Nice chill ambience with friendly service, definitely a good place if youβre having some Vietnamese cravings, pho real ππ
Great recommendation by the friendly staff! Something different from the usual pho and banh mi, this plate of Hanoi style vermicelli with light/warm fish sauce was refreshing and very very tasty! Loved the sour tang and citrusy bowl of fish sauce that came with three yummy meatballs! ππ Also, the grilled fatty pork was beautifully seasoned and charred (though some bits were overcharred), but the savouriness from the sauce and sweetness from the charred bits really combined so perfectly π€€π€€ Very satisfying meal for both the tummy and the wallet with burpple Beyond, and definitely worth a try if youβre craving for some good Vietnamese cuisine! ππ»ππ»
This is hands-down-without-a-doubt my favourite ice cream place! ππ Their flavours never fails to impress and there is such an extensive variety despite changing the flavours every day! Truly the hardest decision to make when you only get 4 flavours to choose, but the staff are an absolute delight and were so friendly and helpful in letting us try many flavours while even explaining to us the ingredients! Truly A+ service and A+ ice cream, and so extremely worth with burpple Beyond (I would totally still buy it even without discounts)! Really liked the Chocolate Sorbet (rich creamy and oh-so-chocolatey!), Nasty Mix (snickers bar in ice cream form omg) and Genmaicha (matcha and brown tea ice cream from Matchaya thatβs a little fuller and more milky than the usual Matcha flavour). The salted caramel cheesecake was nice but personal preference for the first 3 flavours still ππ Definitely worth a trip (or many more) for really good ice cream!
With inspiration from French Cuisine, this had to be one of the most impressive rendition of chicken in ramen Iβve tried thus far ππ The star of the dish was definitely the beautiful chicken confit quarter leg that was indeed torched to perfection as promised! the meat was so tender on the inside with just the right amount of char on the outside π€€π€€ My only gripe would be the noodles, which were instant noodles-ish but definitely a notch better (and I liked that they didnβt overcook them so it still remained really chewy and bouncy!) This came with a decently done onsen egg and some black fungus for the health, and was so light on the palette with the clear chicken and dashi broth ππ Definitely a way underrated place to satisfy some ramen cravings and both service and environment are great as well! Especially with 2 bowls for only $14.30 on Fave, definitely worth a try! ππ»ππ»
