This was surprisingly pretty freaking good and the very definition of comfort food after a bad day 🥰🥰 Loved the tomato dashi broth that was so flavourful yet light and tangy, topped off with that beautiful coat of torched mozzarella 🤤🤤 Their yakibuta pork was pretty decent with a nice fat to lean meat ratio (though would have been nice to torch this too). Only gripe would be the ramen noodles that are like just a notch above instant noodles, but at least they didn’t overcook them and it was super QQ and chewy and held up the cheese and tomato sauce/broth so well 😋😋 Definitely an underrated place for cheap ramen ($14.30 for 2 bowls on Fave) and service and environment are both nice as well! 👍🏻👍🏻

This is pretty value if you manage to hit the timings with eatigo 50% off! The Garlic & Ginger Chicken Hor Fun came with multiple large chunks of tender chicken and loved the abundance of ingredients, but definitely lacking the wok hei char though it was still a pretty decent heart bowl of horfun. The Malay Chicken Rendang was very flavourful though we would have preferred it with beef, and the Stir Fried Vegetables were so so and Yellow Rice was not as flavourful as I expected. The true value comes with the appetizer and dessert buffet ✨✨ Appetizer bar comes with a DIY rojak station (unlimited youtiao yummm), breads (really good to dip with the peanut sauce!!!) and cheese with a huge variety of oils, good variety of salad with nuts and bacon bits, gado gado with peanut sauce and some sides (achar etc). Dessert bar was definitely way more extensive with a good variety of pretty decent cakes (chocolate brownie (yum!!!, carrot cake (loved the citrusy oomph), pistachio (meh), strawberry mousse (meh)), cherry pie (this was more meh than it looked), coffee eclairs (yaaas) and a huge ice cream bar (which I’ll be back to try!!!). Drinks include ice lemon tea and infused water, as coffee and tea. They close the bars exactly at 1430 so grab your food quick if you’re going with eatigo 50% at 1400 😂😂

Finally got to try this and finally understand why there’s perpetually a long queue here! The very definition of comfort food, this down-to-earth eatery dishes out countless plates of curry rice that is absolute comfort food for the heart 💕💕 Every single dish I ordered was good, especially the sotong that was so fresh and soft and absolutely phenomenal when dunked in the curry, as well as the chap chye stewed with love and patience 🤤🤤 Curry here is lighter than what you would expect, but not compromising on flavour with their mix of 2 other sauces with the curry, and really eliminates the whole jelak snoozy feeling post-prandial. Fried pork cutlet, braised pork and sweet sour pork were also pretty good! Very reasonable price for such a feast for the heart, mind and soul 😌😌 Plenty of seats though it might get a little hot, and service is so nice and friendly even though they’re so busy! Definitely a must try if you’re around the area for lunch 👍🏻👍🏻

Two beautifully done poached eggs on generous slabs of smoked salmon with homemade hollandaise sauce atop a thick slice of fluffy multigrain 🤤🤤 Really enjoyed this dish that was so simple and priced reasonably with no service charge/GST! Eggs and hollandaise sauce really coated every part of the multigrain and every bite contained the goodness of every single layer. Good place to go to for simple non-pretentious brunch food 👍🏻👍🏻

YUM??? This was one amazing sandwich that combined sautéed garlic butter cremini mushrooms, melted swiss, caramelised onions and Dijon mustard pretty darn well??? Known for their affordable and delicious sandwiches, this dish definitely didn’t disappoint! 😋😋 Loved the beautifully toasted sourdough as well, which really just held the sandwich together in a non-messy and super delicious way. Nice ambience with water provided and friendly service at no service charge/GST 👍🏻👍🏻

Pretty decent savoury waffle that comes with 4 quarters to dunk in maple syrup, 2 slices of streaky bacon (or honey baked ham) with scrambled eggs on the side (top up to change from sunny side up). 🍳🥓Scrambled eggs was alright in texture but flavour wasn’t oomph enough and we had to salt it ourselves, and could have afforded to be a little more generous with the bacon (which was actually really crispy and nicely done). Waffles was crisp but flavour had something missing. Overall pretty average brunch dish and nothing particularly stood out, except maybe being a little more affordable than typical cafes. Nice ambience though with water provided and friendly service with no service charge/GST ☺️☺️

Yummy yummy yummy! 😋😋 Loved the thick chewy udon in their sauce that’s not too heavy to be jelat nor too light to be lacking in flavour! Slides of roast beef was nicely prepared with just the right sliver of fats and redness, while maintaining the thinness of each slice 🤤🤤 A definite plus point has to be their free flow salad and drinks bar that comes with a huge variety of raw vegetables (edamame, beetroot, zucchini, corn and many other usual veggies) that are uber fresh and lovely with their homemade warm sauce (and many other japanese sauces including sesame kewpie!), soup (minestrone) and legit green tea. What’s more it’s such an amazing deal with chope/Burpple, so definitely do give this a try 👍🏻👍🏻

Enjoyed the chewy udon in light creamy sauce with generous generous portions of seafood (squid, baby abalone, prawns)! And just a shoutout to that attention to detail cause the addition of walnuts gave it such a nice crunch and changed up the soft chewy texture! 🤤🤤 A definite plus point has to be their free flow salad and drinks bar that comes with a huge variety of raw vegetables (edamame, beetroot, zucchini, corn and many other usual veggies) that are uber fresh and lovely with their homemade warm sauce (and many other japanese sauces including sesame kewpie!), soup (minestrone) and legit green tea. Had higher expectations after reading the great reviews, but had to say I was quite disappointed with this wagyu beef don... Not sure how one messed up the ultimate combination of beef with onsen egg over rice, but somehow it happened for this dish... 😥😥 The onsen egg was overdone and the yolk was zero runny so it couldn’t be mixed in well with the rice to make it less dry. The wagyu beef was just shredded thin slices of shabu-quality beef that leaves much more to be desired. All sets come with a sesame salad, kimchi and miso soup, but much better beef bowls out there at this price point so I would give this a pass ☹️☹️

Quite a decent pancake but nothing too spectacular except appreciated the generosity of ingredients (sotong everywhereee). Was more on the eggy side than the typical doughy pancake and portion is a little small for the price (~1/3 a normal pancake?). Not totally worth even with the lunch deal but I guess ok to get if you’re craving? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Actually quite liked their version of the korean JJM! Unlike the usual thick bouncy noodles, the flat yet heavy silky white noodles were well cooked with the right amount of firmness and bounciness, and they held up that thick gooey black bean sauce so well!! 🤤🤤 Side dishes were pretty simple with kimchi and spinach (and unlikely refillable) with no drinks, but just a nice simple korean restaurant to have a quick lunch ☺️☺️

Pretty average bowl of chendol but does satisfy any chendol craving that you might have! Gula Melaka taste didn’t come through very much, but did appreciate the generous portions of red bean and green wriggly thingums 😋😋
